Hello Drew, what a fabulous time-lapse video! I have been struggling with a case of the photography blues for what seems like months and watching this has really made me think about picking up the Camera again and getting back over the border into beautiful Wales. What I was particularly impressed with is with the Astro timelapse and star trail effect at @02:55 > @03:00 may I ask how you achieved that? PS. I have your book and dont leave for wales without it :)

Thanks Geoff, apologies for late reply - don't check this page much, something I must do more of soon! Glad to hear you're enjoying the book too, many thanks. That effect was one sequence playing the individual 'frames' of the trail one after another (showing them rotating), then another sequence is a compilation of the same frames overlayed together sequentially and then faded in and out to show the effect. Hope that makes sense, cheers!

@@drewbuckleyphotography thanks Drew. Yeah I think I have the concept in my head. I have found some alternative ways of achieving something similar prior to your rely. I have to admit I keep returning to your time-lapse and thinking I should do something in a similar vein form my area. I doubt it will turn out as grand as your effort though!

How is this possible? It couldn’t have swam all the way across from arctic countries to Wales. This is gonna be one lonely creature! I can’t see how it’s going to survive

Amazing footage! I wonder if it's the same one that turned up in Ireland. Someone with an eagle-eye might be able to determine from the patterns on the skin
