Great work! Do you work out your own arrangements, or do you play from sheet music?

Love your playing!! Subbed!! Such a great sound and tone. What are you using to record the sound? Is your guitar plugged into an amp and then you use a mic to the amp? Or it’s to an interface? Great sound and great playing
@MadeulPlaysGuitar17 күн бұрын
Thanks!! For this video I plugged the guitar into a Fender Rumble and used the line out to feed the audio interface. On the software side, I used Logic’s amp sim (silver panel). Hope that helps!

Exactly what I've been looking for. I used to play chord melody style back in the day. It's still what I hear in my head in spite of years of rock n' raunch n' roll. Bless you for sharing your sounds 🎶🎶🥰

Hmm don’t remember the specific setup for this video but usually I have a Logic ampsim silver panel) at the end of the chain. Often I have a physical amp in the middle (cube 80xl or fender rumble)

Lol totally fair- I know nothing about drums so just copy-and-pasted a super simple pattern. Glad you liked the guitar playing!!

Great job man! One thing I would recommend considering, as a fellow fingerstyle chord melody player myself, is to start playing the single lines alternating between the index and middle fingers for every note. However, you still killed it so if you prefer the way you already do it I'm not one to argue. Wes used just his thumb after all 😆

Can you please do a version of It Could Happen to You - I LOVE the Chet Baker version. And please consider starting a Patreon or selling the tabbed versions of your arrangements - I would buy them all!

I have been practicing that tune! Hoping to record and upload soon - I might get to other tunes first, but great to get your recommendation! Tabs would be nice, but I would have to transcribe since none of this is prearranged… sounds like a nice long-term training goal however so will keep your encouragement in mind!

All your practice is really paying off. I’m really loving the increase in reverb depth in your most recent vids. Is this the Logic Amp sim., or is it on board your amp (or a pedal even)? Thanks.
@MadeulPlaysGuitar2 ай бұрын
Oh wow, I am greatly appreciative of your keen ears!!! It’s all in Logic- I use the spring reverb on the simulated preamp and also a space reverb for the track. Thanks!!!

I love the look of that telecaster body. Did you buy it like that or do it yourself? If you bought it where’d you buy it from. Also, you sound great!
@MadeulPlaysGuitar2 ай бұрын
Thanks! It’s a Ron Kirn Barnbuster. I burnt and sanded the body myself, but I think there are artists who can do that for you
@mattzilla4202 ай бұрын
@@MadeulPlaysGuitar so, the process was burn, sand, and finish in that order? Did you put some sort of sealer on it or is that body just raw? Im thinking about trying this with a swamp ash body
@MadeulPlaysGuitar2 ай бұрын
Ah sorry for the late response- replies of replies don’t show up on my dashboard. The body is just raw, which is probably not a good idea, but it has held up after years of bedroom playing. Good luck, but I cannot guarantee good or even non-catastrophic results 😳
