Two things.... refs should immediately kick these people off the field. No choices. AND issue the yellow cards to players when they foul. It will nip the fouling in the bud at this age most of the time. I see it constantly. No cards issued just warnings. It's a yellow card. Not a repeated verbal warning. That husband should just plain be banned from the field for a year

BOTH parties handled this poorly. The parents didn't control their anger well, but from what I saw the ref drew first blood. Parents have a right to complain respectfully about the offiiciating. I didn't hear the parents say anything disrespectful to the ref before he copped his authoritative attitude and told them disrespectfully to "be quiet or leave." He then escalated the situation even further by kicking them out, blowing kisses to them, waving bye to them, etc. Respect is a two-way street.

i swear dude, all the parents that are shouting directions to the players or get mad at refs for not calling something are always the parents that know NOTHING about the sport. i play ice hockey and i was watching a 10u game (or U-10, idk what to call it), and there was this mother that was shouting directions and ALL of them were incorrect-- it made me so mad, like if you dont know what ur saying just dont say anything at all

This happened to me once with my manager and the woman ref. I understand referees decisions or plays can be mistakes and not tolerated to be fought against. But some tackles our opponent made sweet Jesus. One us could’ve been at hospital.
