Can this be done on a real game? I've never seen it

Any fix for Steam no longer supporting Win7 on this as of this year (2024)? Mine won't let me start a FX2 table, with Steam refusing to work offline and refusing to connect (even though I can log in via browser). Since I have a backup, I've been experimenting with updates, but Steam won't update and I can't even upgrade to Win10 with multiple methods. All the hardware seems fine (and even though some parts of the cabinet seem thin, it is still solid), so I'm getting ready to start a Win10 or Win11 clean install and rebuild everything from scratch. Or... just removing all the FX2 tables and add more downloadable ones, and more vertical MAME games.

Pinball is immortal, I think. I guess they had that AC hum sound, even when new, I guess? We have a Data East Back to the future and it sounds exactly like that when I turn it on.

Fun fact. The TV series Lost went back to the 1970's on the Island later in the show. The community hall had Cyclone in it, a pinball machine from the late 1980's! 😁

The story the guy posted sounds suspect though, honestly. He was at THEIR house and just chilling somewhere else while they were getting drunk? I feel like there is more to the story and the guy got the lady sweet on him OR he overstepped boundaries to cause the whole thing. Still awesome that the dude was able to come across this fossil and ended up willing to sell it to you. Awesome machine, it would be cool to see a full play-through, though.

Wow... What a great find and nostalgia to unbox a 90s game NOS. But that music on DE games was always soooo bad, always same sounding, just very hectic, same fast rhythm always... wonder why they didn't spend some money back then on a good musician back then...

신기하네~ 핀볼은 어릴때 시내 오락실에서나 볼뿐이었는데.... 문제는 핀볼 자체가 조작은 단순하지만 난이도가 어려워서 금방 게임오버 되는 머신이야.... 어릴때는 돈이 없어서 별로 친하지가 않는 게임이지.

My God the time talking about useless details my god

I was way into pinball when I was a kid. Each summer my family would camp our way from California back east to visit relatives (1968-1972). Every campground that had a small concession/snack bar usually had a couple of pinball machines, so I would play them all the way across the U.S. and back each summer. Back then they were very basic. It was a dime for a single game and a quarter for three games. There was a mechanical plunger you pushed in to load the next ball and another spring loaded one you pulled to shoot the ball. Many hours of pure fun.
