This tool needs more exposure. With modern four stroke pistons in dirt bikes, the piston pin is recessed and can be a pain to get the clips in with needle nose pliers. I bought this tool and it made the job nice and easy. It does take a minute to properly adjust the tool on the four stroke models, but it works great once its setup. For my Vertex Piston install, the clips were very stiff and did require some force to push through the tube. I recommend oiling up the tube before pushing the clip through.
