Great video. Now 74 I tried just flairing the right foot about 30 Deg and this made all the difference to getting the right feel in the takeaway. Still playing to a 15 hdc.

The captions on the screen cover up where he’s holding the club and pointing it’s supposed to be completely useless

I have seen people mount it a bit differently at the club, up to more 45 degrees CW so you have to rotate the grip to let it touch the inside of your left arm.

Go hit a Ping 430 7 or 9 Wood at the range (not the sim). There's not a ball flight like it. The 7 wood is one of my favorite clubs in the bag.

I occasionally miss those silly short putts that, as I walk up to it I’ve already given myself it inmy head. Stay focused and concentrate over every putt….

Thank you for this video. You’re a talented teacher. One thing I don’t understand is when you select the 9 iron over the sand wedge you state the nine iron has more margin of error saying the swing is shorter. Wouldn’t that reduce the margin of error? Why would I choose a shot with greater risk of error?

Happened to click on this video of yours and man…great work! I am a 3 handicap and have lost alittle bit of my striking lately, my old habits were creeping back in and I wasn’t straightening the arms at the right time. Thank you for the great lesson! 👏👏👏👏👏🤌🤌

So the ball in the same position as the wedge as for the wood but your body is further away, perpendicular to the ball?

We spend most our time in the ROUGH ! could you show us how to get out of, ball high grass and higher ? with 60yd wedge . with a 150yd iron ? with a 180yd hybrid/fairway wood ? Our Fairways and Ruffs are Not like Carpet ! like the Rough behind you !

From the top of the back swing, as you start your downswing, do you intentionally add speed to your arms? Or, do you let the speed build more naturally as a result of moving pressures and body rotation?

Not a yes or no answer I’m afraid. Several variables depending on your tendency and what your ideal should be. You should test both. For most, arms first helps a lot though

What a bunch of poppeycock and Dustin Johnson used their shoulders and arms to prpopel the ball better than anywat. . Snead,Nicklaus,Watson, Woods, and they all had great speed. Go back to making money by teach tiddledee winks, its fit you skills better.

All of those players do indeed make big powerful turns in their golf swing… it works brilliantly, if you can do it and if you can do it as one gets past 50 etc is the key. But it’s the cues that deliver better results than the term turn your shoulders. It causes negative patterns and results for the majority of golfers… alter the cues and intention, adapt to one’s ability… better results. Every time and way easier to apply. I would also very much enjoy a game of tiddledee winks but not interested in teaching it thanks. 🤷🏻‍♂️🏌🏽

Hi Danny, tried these today in studio and my average driver speed of sub 90mph went up to 97, but to my disappointment it still only carried 185 yards. I took a screenshot, but can't attach it. Is there any obvious reasons for this ?? Cheers Matt 👍

Besides your heavy arm video are their others that are more arm video and not body? I think for amateurs who can't practice all the time a momentum, arms swing is better.

every coaches let me change to stronger grip from neutral. I feel more confident until I watched this video. Strong grip is really uncomfortable when I swing and hinge the club , furthermore I have to learn the “shallow “to force my arm can return the set position.
