By now its all mostly forgotten which sucks! I was there 7/82-11/82. I was 19 yrs old then. What a great experience. I always wished i could go back for a walk thru. Then My son enlisted and went thru in 2007. I had thoughts of how i remembered it. When i went to my sons graduation it was difficult to figure out where everything was as i remembered it. Man they did some building in 25 years. It was still cool. I was in E-1-1. Great times. Thanks for this video, enjoyed it!

B-9-2, Class of 1987, 11C. Whoever made this video back in the day did not capture the reality very well. They left out the Shark Attack. They left out all of the yelling, screaming, and profanity. The cadence calls alone are X-rated and would melt a Snowflake of today in two milliseconds. There was no "preparing for the gas chamber". We were ambushed. That's when you found out if your mask worked or not. Still fun to reminisce.
@BradfordBeckett7 ай бұрын
You are correct...that was my experience too..I think they left out all that stuff on purpose to present a G-reated impression for the families and of course, future enlistees. Today's snowflakes wouldn't stand a chance.

Parts of it were of my battalion in the Fall of 1988. As for the rest, at a minimum early 1988. But, who knows because I would imagine they wouldn’t make a stock recording every year.
