Thank you for valuing the content. We didn’t got installed the infotainment system from Hyundai. We got aftermarket android installed with 2 component and 2 coaxial speakers with subwoofer. You can get exceptionally good music system installed at 50-60K, which can even beat Hyundai’s Bose system.

Nexon 208 mm. 3XO 201 mm ground clearance. Both engines are not reliable. Mahindra engines better than Tata generator engines.

If we have to answer his bull shit thought of built quality he was giving gyan then why Hyundai showed his chasis that they used lots of ultra high strength steel etc in 2024 creta they should keep it secret because they know they need the improvement 1st generation creta was damn good in terms of built quality but 2gen was pathetic people trolled it in major accidents. Maruti has also researched a lot so why he is manufracturing wagonr a very genuine and authentic tin can car means in the similarity tata is stupid he is making good car in same like punch .

Worst car . In terms of built quality in accidents above the speed of 40km/hr . It’s body panel strength is good but chasis is not good to take major energy absorption in speed hit .

People who by VW or Skoda, they very well know they are buying a driving experience and not a chip Hyundai or Suzuki equivalent. There's no comparison of FORD strategy vs VW/Skoda strategy. I think the analysis presented is wrong and need a much deeper analysis.

Vw needs to work on its strategy, they have launched cars for 4 ppl wdout panoramic sunroof in a country with largest population, what was that? They themselves planned to fail. Just their proper suv is of 40lakh, no one would buy that, they just need to launch a proper vehicle for 5 ppl wd sunroof and open stores in small cities and they will be hit in india for sure. And yes size should be big

This is such a misleading video for a lot of reasons: 1) Selling Stake: Any business or management professional would know that selling stake doesn't mean leaving the market. It means sharing it's stake with a strategic partner for expansion and better penetration on the market. Every company does that if they wish to expand into a market that they feel couldn't be cracked without a local partner who knows market better. VW/SKODA aren't leaving India. 2) Sales Numbers: VW Group have invested close to billion dollars again in 2.0 strategy after being in India for 10 years. No sane company would abandon their investment just like that. Sales numbers combined of VW & Skoda (which constitutes the India Skoda VW alliance), have been far better than precious 10 years. Virtus and Slavia are selling like hot cakes. Taigun and Kushaq not so much but still they aren't too bad. They need more sales to sustain the business model and get RoI out of their investment and they are working on it. 3) Expansion Plans in India: VW group is opening new showrooms and ASCs rapidly to match the competition like Hyundai and Kia. Once they have matched the number of touch points, the sales numbers will get competing as well. Make a note, VW/Skoda have super limited service centres and still they are managing to pull off decent sales if not the best. If they expand, their sales numbers would only go high up. 4) New Cars in pipeline for India (confirmed) : Skoda has been testing a sub 4 metre SUV already seen on roads in camouflage. Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, VW India has already confirmed they are working on Face lifts of Taigun and Virtus and bring more features to make their cars more competitive. No company would do these if they were to leave the market. 5) Service Experience & Cost: I own 2 VW's in my family for over 7 years. Have previously owned Hyundais too. I can personally say my service experience in VW Authorised Service Centre has been far better than a Hyundai's. The Service manager listens to us, advises us, they do try to sell what is not needed but every ASC does that. Service Quality has also been without any complaints for 7 years. People who haven't owned a VW or German cars come forward to spread fake news about their unreliability very fast but does not know that these cars need to be maintained with care timely unlike a Toyota or Hyundai. If German cars were unreliable, developed nations like Europe, Germany, etc wouldn't have VW and other German brands as their top selling cars. 6) Quality of products (cars) : VW /Skoda in India, have great cars with world class engines (also confirmed by Hormaz Sorabjee of Autocar India who has driven 1000s of cars from different brands in his lifetime). They are solid, use top quality synthetic engine oils, brake fluids, pads, discs and other mechanicals. Not to mention their 5 star safety ratings across the globe. Ofcourse quality doesn't come cheap and hence their maintainance will be slightly costlier than Korean brands. But that also gives you a premium driving experience. 7. VW/Skoda aren't planning to become a Mass Market Brand like Maruti or Hyundai. They are a mass premium brand and hence they aren't even expecting sales close to Hyundai or Kia. They want it to enough to sustain their business model and generate profits. 8. VW group in India consists of Audi, Porsche, VW Passenger Cars, Skoda, Bentley and Lamborghini. Their sales cumulatively are huge. They don't have any dearth of resources either that they will leave India so soon. SO STOP SPREADING LIES AND STUPID SPECULATIONS! We Indias are very fast in spreading fake news and believing them and not applying our brains and verifying facts.

If you only want a VW/Skoda and you don't care about resale value, then wait for the announcement of exiting India. You'll get 4 to 5 lakhs discount for clearing the remaining stock

@ShettyGaneshprasad I own a punto abarth, chevrolet cruze, and a Ford freestyle. Never felt like I made a mistake. Purchased them right after they announced they were leaving. Will buy slavia after skoda exits. If you live in or around a metro city, then no worries for parts and service. Either way, you have platforms like boodmo to order parts. These are quality cars and their parts last long. Even if there's a problem, it gets solved. Yes, after some time, the parts may start to get a little costlier, but never got in an accident or had an important part fail me so no huge costs. Just maintenance!

Highlighting some major issues for their failure and what should help them. 1. We are still in the 2nd year since they hsve announced service packages but what happens post that nobody knows, will the parts and service cost empty our wallets? 2. They say its over engineered for India, really? - AC cooling doesnt work - Squeaking sounds from the breaks and the interiors - Unreliable gearbox and turbo engines which heats up in hot climates - Engine light comming on - Expensive engine oil top up after every 3000 kms After paying all that premium for a over engineered car? lol 3. No road side mechanics are experienced enough to carry out tasks on such a well engineered car if someone chooses to repair it outside the SVC 4. All the of the above results in poor or no resale value when you want to eventually sell it. A smart tieup should help them solve all these worries. For example: Its really great to see brands like Triumph tying up with Bajaj, look at their Triumph street 400, it just oozes TRIUMPH with top notch quality and no mention of bajaj on the bike.. Its selling like hot cakes with that competitive pricing.

Since 2012 I own VW. From polo to virtus These cars are awesome. Bhai ye kya faila rakha h maintenance cost high. kis car ki maintenance jo iss price segment ki h sasti h. Kuch bhi bolte ho. Iski service 15k kms per hoti h rest cars ki 10k par means if we drive 1 lakh kms then we go only 6 times in service centre and the rest cars will go 10 times. Or rhi baat parts ki wo phle mehnge the but localised production hone ke baad saste hn. My brother using seltos and I m using virtus or sach btaun seltos ki maintenance isse bohot jyada costly padti h..please ab ye sab myths ko jyada mat failao. Bhai jo 15lakh Dene ki himmat rakhta h wo service cost ye sab nhi sochta..maruti Hyundai walo ko ye sab Shobha deta h

I think the service experience of VW and Škoda cars is really bad. No transparency and over charging customers for defects that service personnel surprisingly discover. The cars too are not as reliable as some other KZfaqrs make it sound. They are subject to expensive repairs.

Trust me, I visited the service centre yesterday and paid a bill of 70,000 for servicing my Škoda superb because magically the service person found a faulty front suspension. Now this has happened repeatedly with me. I am scared to take the car for service

Also, these people at service centre don’t do proper checks of the car after service. It is almost guaranteed that I have to take the car back to the service centre 2-3 days after the regular service because there is some rattling noise or some issue with AC or something else. I am so frustrated with these cars, I don’t want to own them at all.

Sir, the service person himself tells me that these cars are expensive to maintain not just the Superb but even the Polo, he told me that after 6th year, changing break pads, suspensions, timing belt and steering rack etc will definitely inflate the service bills and that customers have to be prepared for that. Sir I fail to understand in what way these cars are reliable. My neighbour beside my house is happily using his Hyundai for 15 years now just with regular service and changing tyres.
