Holy shit you only have 200 subs?! Dude this level of quality is impressive. I wont just praise you too much though since i think that isnt really helpful. Sometime your mike would start popping, noticeable during the introduction primarily, and i might suggest turning down background audio a bit. Your voice is a little soft when coming out of a speaker so its hard to pick out your words during the parts with war audio. But those are small issue's, the foundation of your great writing and the well organized layout of the video more then make up for my personal audio issues. Now onto the actual topic, i find you're points excellently summarize my views on the games. Personally the most effective part for me was the genuine terror i felt when walking through the gas for the first time. And then subsequently the realization i had after finishing the game. When i first walked through the could i was paranoid, this stuff blinded me, left me vulnerable, scared and uneasy at the fact that anything could appear around the corner and kill me by simply cracking the fragile glass in said mask. Then, when looking back at the...birdthing, the name is slipping me, i realized when moving through the gas you became numb to its danger, mindlessly taking the mask on and off like an automaton whenever i saw that sickly mustard color. After thinking on that moment i asked myself. "Is that what happened to the actual soldiers? Did they really end up having to confront man made horrors beyond on comprehension and become as numb to it as one does the cold?" This game, it made me understand just how horrifying it must have been to be in these fights. How and why someone can simply...never come back..even when he lives, a part of the soldiers soul died when they entered that trench and it will never be set free.

Ansbach tells us that Miquella enchanted Mohg. Which furthers the case for this video now that Miquella is manipulative AF. Edit: I was informed by @simoneslcazar816 that its not actually fact because of how the timeline works and how Miquella’s enchantment works. Your review is really objective. The ridiculous argument about this game is that people who haven't played the game or don't own PS5 only emphasized the sexual aspect from a stereotypical standpoint. In fact, this game is one of the best PS5 games in many ways. more than just pretty face.....

The dlc does indirectly add some nuance to these characters. Light Spoilers, mind you. For malenia it could be inferred from miquella’s controlling personality plus his power to control others that malenia has been under his power before they were even born. Forced to do his bidding, so obsessed with his wants and needs that she has never really lived for herself. And her weaponizing of her illness was used to her detriment, making its effect worse. While for the dung eater, the omens horns were originally a sign of divinity before labeled as a curse. Meaning he is returning the world to how it once was in a rather depraved manner, problems and all.

I want to hear your take on Messmer, there‘s a lot of parallels between him and Melania. Both battling chronic illness, are loyal blades of their “god” who eventually abandoned them and both had to unleash the very thing that caused them suffering as the ultimate weapon. However, the nature of their tasks were vastly different that one is known as a loyal hero and another, bearing the blame on their master’s behalf.

I got Elden Ring in December of 2023 after watching my friend play it and it looked really interesting. Although I was very late to the party I can easily say that it is the best game I’ve ever played. I have put nearly 250 hours into it and have played the main game multiple times. and now the DLC made me love the game even more. Since I beat the dlc I’m currently playing through dark souls 3 trying to get all the achievements and then after that I’ll play sekiro and then probably play through the entirety of Elden Ring and the DLC again. So excited to see what Fromsoft creates in the future

I just noticed something in the first trailer of Radahn and Malenia fighting scene: Though this seems like a duel, Radahn's back is already riddled with the cleanrot spears, so this may not have been such an honorable one on one as we believed initially. You can also see it when she climbs on his back and stabs herself for the nuke. Makes me wonder if he was jumped or how much of it was actually a duel before he had her down and waited for her to get back up.

Miyazaki deserves the same notoriety and recognition as Kojima. For one thing, his games are a hell of a lot better than Kojima’s.
