bleeding does not mean pain. They have some sort of periodontal disease. Most likely gingivitis. Healthy gums do not bleed. 99.9 percent of people’s gums bleed cause no one actually takes good care of their teeth. Their tissue is inflamed due to poor oral hygiene and bacterial buildup. When bacterial biofilm is disturbed it causes bleeding. But the bleeding is painless in most cases. If this person brushed and flossed like they are supposed to they wouldn’t be bleeding from gentle air powder polishing. Also this video is wrong. You polish after a cleaning. So this is after they do the actual cleaning and scaling. Don’t forget to brush a minimum of twice a day for two minutes each and floss or use interdental brushes at least once daily.

Sorry to bust y’all’s bubble but that’s done after dental cleaning/scaling. That’s is an old air powder polish machine I believe. It’s a surface stain remover and it will not clean the calculus or sub gingival debris and bacteria like in a regular or cavitron prophy.
