It retrospect, it is interesting to see a young Anjelah not really getting the laughs she deserves at the beginning. She was great from the jump, but for some reason the crowd doesn’t respond very much. I guess she wasn’t as well known then. Then she does the hilarious nail salon jokes, which are epic, and finally gets the credit she is due. Watch one of her specials now…from the beginning the audience is appreciative of her humor and wit and she sells out shows to huge crowds. It is cool to see such a talented comedian make it like she has. She persevered, and is now respected and appreciated for her talent. Pretty awesome if you ask me! Watch
