couldn't agree more, Granit Xhaka has been, not only since he spent time at Arsenal, even while at Gladbach and FC Basel, a 6-er that is WAY ABOVE say Kimmich or Goretzka. And Bayern could have had him for example before he joined Arsenal for like 25M, but the yearlong dictatorship of Kimmich&Goretzka didn't allow anyone to play in the defensive midfield for years. He also has a lethal shot, he doesn't shot aimlessly 10 times per game, but when he does he scores or does so very dangerously. And passes from Xhaka are like "drawn" with a pen, and anticipating WHERE the player WILL be when he receives the ball, whereas at Bayern, the trainer(s) and players are so BAD that always passes in the midfield are so that the receiver has to "wait" for the ball or move in another direction to receive the ball. That no "responsible" Bayern management thought of ever bringing Xhaka to Bayern, is mind-boggling, and not only this year, I mean FOR YEARS!

We (QPR) have had nothing but English managers for nearly a decade. I said before Martí was manager that we should venture out and get someone completely different from the same old rotation of English managers. I’m happy with Marti and I’ll back him all the way. He’s steadied the ship and looks promising and he’s young.

How long can qtr keep hold of him? His work won’t have gone unnoticed amongst the bigger clubs like Brighton or Forest.

You must also take into account the fight the club had to endure with their previous owners SISU who took over the club simply to try and get the stadium for the land it was built on, multiple court cases, multiple fights with the council, they tried to put a charity into administration, they moved the club to sixfields in northampton and st andrews in birmingham, we were homeless, were deducted multiple points in multiple seasons for financial issues, were put into administration twice and were looking at liquidation in the face. Robins and his backroom staff are simply incredible and the future finally looks bright with our new owner Doug King actually caring about the club. We still don't own a ground but have a good relationship with frazer group at the moment. Doug King has plans to build a new stadium in the next 5 years. How no one has made a movie about our saga is puzzling.
