You cannot have an unconditional offer with conditions on it. So I guess you have a conditional offer where the conditions may be meeting English criteria or providing your transcripts or whatever it may be. If All the conditions are met the issuance of CoE will depends on the University timeline on how long it takes to issue the CoE. There Could be few reasons for this delay. University typically have monthly meetings where they assess all the applications that they have to assess and report back. You may have narrowly missed that timeline and your application is probably in the next round so it may take two months. If you think this is not the case then maybe you can reach out to the University admission department and ask them about the progress of your application and when would you expect to receive the CoE.

I applied through my own, later when they asked me for transcripts and all.I contacted a representative and then that person took over my application. But In my application portal it was written Type of offer : unconditional The university mailed me also that after fulfilling the condition they will arrange CoE. Acceptance type :Conditional acceptance I have received a scholarship from my supervisor also. I am just waiting for the CoE for over 1 month.Everything is done from my side or my representative side. Will I get the CoE? Ri8? Sometimes I feel they are not interested in taking me . I am in a dilemma.

You can send a reminder email to follow up and see if the professor had received any update from the industry partner. Also remember that Professor received many emails from potential PhD applicants so on occasions we may lose track of all we were talking with. so it is a good idea to send a follow-up email and asked for any progress. The process for applying a post doc does not depend upon whether you have a Visa or not. The first step is to apply for postdoc position and once you are accepted you will be given a job offer by the university or the lab. With this job offer you will then apply an appropriate Visa to come to Australia for work. This applies to any other academic position in the university. So you do not need to have a Visa when you’re applying for a postdoc position. There are many different types of work Visa available and they keep changing as the government changes the visas. I think it is important to understand the perspective of the Professor and if you are able to think from their perspective I believe your chances of success would be much higher. What I have noticed is whenever I receive such emails they are more focused on what the candidate has achieved rather than how those achievements will align with the work that I am doing . You can imagine I get daily two or three emails and after reading just a few sentences I decide not to read it any further because it is a stock standard email that is been sent to multiple other professors. This does not give a good impression to me because it just shows you are not really keen to spend sufficient time to understand my research but rather trying to send out as many emails as possible and hoping one of them would reply . This is like spamming and like spamming the response rate is going to be very low. Taking time to draft a personalised email by researching the professors recent work will significantly improve your chances of securing response plus if they have any funding they are more likely to consider you for that because it shows you have done sufficient background research about their work, so indirectly reflects on your research capability. To answer your first question typically you would need to have one systematic literature review paper or a traditional literature review paper plus one or two empirical papers that present your findings from your research. Ideally, I would suggest one SLR and two empirical papers. These two papers could be addressing your research questions. For example, if you have two research questions, then you could have two papers. In case of Business research you may have a mix of different methodologies like conducting a quantitative survey and doing a qualitative interview. You can always try and apply, some universities have a condition that you have to put in a name of a professor from whom You have got approval, if you have found a Professor it makes your application stronger and you will get an outcome faster, otherwise your application will be circulated within the relevant department and one of the professors would have to accept to supervise you. So ideally, I would suggest you approach a professor and then start the application process. Having said that there is no stopping for you to directly apply.
