John Lennon did NOT DIE on December 8th 1980!😡 (12-8-1980>9-11; do I have to say more?) He faked his death and became Steve Jobs-meaning that it was Jobs, not Lennon, that was killed (thank you Ed Chiarini😊). The reason? It's obvious: Lennon refused to tell D.C. (why was he harassed by the FBI and CIA for eight years?) that his mentor Paul McCartney was killed in a car crash on November 9, 1966 (again with 9-11!) and the British government told him and The Beatles* that John F. Kennedy would stage his own death. Wake up and understand the world is a lie, and that walking through faith🙏is the reason why we're surviving. (*British slang for Kill God!)

The absolute pinnacle of 'pop' (hard to fit this into a genre). How the hell did the same band write 'Belfast Child'?

Mick is an accordian player. He used that double tap technique on the synth riff.

The man singing the song...makes or breaks the performance...... The people around him can be the BEST..... EVER.... But the singer conveys the song and the performance of all.

Wow… every bit as great live as it is on record. One of my greatest regrets is that I never saw Roxy Music live. In my defense, I was a bit young (born ‘67), and they split in ‘83, only about 3 years after I really started getting into them. Anyway, this is every bit as great as the incredible single version. Man, they were a top notch band. Just jaw-droppingly good.

Few bands ever really ever generate this much magic, every member on fire
Derek sets the whole thing up with that growling snarling bass intro. Sound mixer wanted a kick in the pants, cos the keys were a bit too high end. Mind, Mick is ridiculously superior in this performance.
