any reason you did not get the spoiler wrapped around the edges? it would look a lot cleaner, more like how its paint matched on golf Rs

Good question, me personally I think it looks better top have the base color matched and the actual wing part black.

Yours is unique! Love that color! What color was it off the lot? I’ve got a 2023 40th Anniversary Edition in the color I wanted (pomelo yellow), so just PPF for me instead of a wrap. I’m just keeping mine stock. Had it for 1 1/2 years now, 6,800 miles, no issues, just pure fun! Thanks for sharing!

looks great so far. ive got a 22 moonstone se and waiting to install my downpipe, intercooler and pmax turbo so i can be stage 3. Def going to be getting those alzor wheels they look so good.

why? they have self healing wraps that last 10+ years. Easy to maintain and still cheaper than a great paintjob. I've had bad experiences with paint shops even when I paid alot of money.

This is so sweet. I've had about 20 cars and i just got a used 2021 GTI. Of course I had to buy it myself so had to wait until i was making into the $160k plus a year. Shep you do make a lot of goid points though. Way cheaper to work on than BMW, MB, and Audi. I'm glad you really appreciate what you got.

love the videos, I just bought a MK8 and bought some lowering springs and I was wondering if you have to buy new shocks if your gonna install lowering springs

Thank you! With lowering springs your shocks will go faster. They last about two years with lowering springs. I currently need to replace mine just something to consider with lowering springs which is why they’re much cheaper than coilovers

Definitely delete all the red accents to black/smoke and for sure paint your calipers black and it would for sure be perfect imo.. people would be drooling over your car😊

i like both, interior wise mk8 all day. front end does look pretty mean on the 8.5 though. im seeing videos without fog lights but pictures WITH fog lights. so im not sure if itll actually have them. i love my fogs on the 8

Nice vid! I have a 2019 SEL Alltrack with an IS38 turbo swap, stage 3 APR tune, Stage 3 DSG tune and all the mods to support the turbo, Inlet etc..I'm pushing close to 400 at the crank and man is it fun, The DSG is the way to go though when pushing bigger power numbers and it shifts like a dream.

You only should look at coilovers if you want to adjust your ride height. You can buy an aftermarket strut to pair with your springs for a lot less than coilovers. They usually go for about 1k as a package.
