Hello. I watched your video and you didn't mention any disadvantages with the volta. I have had one for less than two years and I have only used it a few times and the USB-C tip of the Volta broke. The male piece that goes inside the camera came out of the Volta cable. I was looking for a little information and I don't see any solutions, but there are many cases similar to mine on the internet. Do you know who repairs this? I am in the United Kingdom and I would like to fix it since I cannot use the Volta, which has cost me a bit expensive. As I mentioned, I've only used it a few times and I never thought that being an expensive product that looks robust that this would happen to me. Also the customer service is pretty terrible. Thanks for any help on this matter.

Hello again😊 Do you think Hohem can be trusted? Because concerning the Trustpilot overview is not looking good in first point of view. I getting shillyshally🫤😅 What is your thoughts about the HoHem company and the MT2 product from experience and what grade would you give in ranking grade from one to five stars? Thanks in advance!

I get what you mean since it’s kind of a new brand. I think if you want ai tracking, Hohem mt2 is one of the best out there. But in terms of support and parts, I say DJI has the biggest support network out there due to their size. I had no issues on my MT2 and it’s almost been a year

Footage looked good on the phone with a galaxy 20s plus, but pulling it off the phone I now realize how compressed it looks and not happy with the app. The apps zoom is also horrible compared to crop zooming in to a pic in the phones native app. It also defaults into vertical mode, so if you started the video in vertical then switch to horizontal, mid filming, you now have footage in vertical filmed horizontally. I wish there was a setting to just turn off vertical filming all together and make it default to horizontal as well as a button to choose a compression setting so it doesnt compress so hard. Also in all "flow modes" it seems like Auto tracking is always on, which is annoying 90% of the time, since it starts tracking random things I dont want it to because it thinks its smart, and takes away from the shot when youre trying to shoot at a vanishing point and it decides to start tracking a random tree or oncoming traffic. Then takes away from the shot when you have to redirect it with manual adjustment from the joystick. I'm probably just going to ditch the flow app all together. Pros: its a gimble with a joystick and a built in tripod thats a compact package. The auto tracking is neat and useful but not so much in needs to be ON in all settings with no ability to turn off.

Nice comparison! Really comprehensive. I would only add as reference an estimated weight of these setups so people can compare with their own. I was thinking of getting the Slide Lite for my Olympus E-M5 III with a Panasonic 14-140mm, which is kind of heavy for a micro four thirds setup, but not really very heavy in general camera terms. I am now thinking if this is the way to go, or if I should just go with the Leash. Any recommendations? I already own the cuff so I'm looking at these two to stay with the same anchor system, that works great! But I am looking to go out with a Wotancraft Pilot 2L and a PEN-F with 17mm that I will put in and out of the cuff/bag, while having the other one hanging on the side with the Slide Lite or Leash, but cannot decide on which. Thanks a lot!
@ToasterVentura14 күн бұрын
Thanks for checking out my video! I think you are on the right track and the slide lite is your best option! It can handle more weight than the leash and not as bulky as the slide.
@jazzfan749115 күн бұрын
Great review. Re the magnet to hold the strap together, you might look around KZfaq for something like "Peak Design strap hack" because there's a good explanation of how you can use an extra PD anchor to turn the PD strap into a sling (basically attach an anchor to one end of the strap, then connect that anchor to the other end of the strap). This turns out to be a great idea, imo, and means you can connect to the PD strap with only one anchor on the camera (since the strap is now a loop). Arguably not as clean as the magnet design, but has some advantages too.

Just what I was looking for. I own a slide strap and love the quality and even when its really comfortable to use for transport the camera it is really uncomfortable to use the camera (like you said, it is bulky and it gets in the way). A partial solution to this is to use the anchor point below the camera, so when you have to use it at least you have clear one side. But If you use a tripod plate like I do, that is another problem because you keep switching plates depending on what you have to do and it is not ideal. So I wanted to buy another but was undecided between the lite and the leash. The anchor system is the best distinctive feature of this straps but also it is the reason why they are uncomfortable to use because when you lift the camera their position is in top of your hand or between you hand and the camera, both very annoying. I think I'll go for the leash since all share this design at least it will be the least intrusive. Thanks for the video and the real world review!
@ToasterVentura15 күн бұрын
Awesome thanks for watching and yeah after owning all 3 straps, any small camera I use the leash. Small mirrorless I use the medium slide lite strap and only when I shoot big camera with flash and tamron 35-150 then I would use the heavy duty one

I bought this PGYTECH CapLock neck mount and I must say it is an absolute rubbish! Put a camera on it and walk around in a quiet street. Or walk around in a store where no music is playing and quiet. Don't pace around at 1 mph like a 90 year old. Walk like you going somewhere. There's too much gap between the removable camera holder and the base hence it wiggles. Therefore at every step you make the microphone picks up the noise as the two plastic pieces bump together. Very annoying to say the least. If you ride a motorcycle or you're in the city or visit places where there's noise around you, chances are you won't hear it. I think PGYTECH did a bad job with this design!

Dust isn’t really a problem. Just keep it in a case or the original Ricoh leather case. Don’t keep in your pants or jacket pocket bare naked. The thumb grip is useless don’t bother buying. Honestly, the camera is fine by itself just buy more batteries & the OEM Ricoh case.
