FUN FACT: The former Tanganyika Tidal Wave water ride at Busch Gardens Tampa has now been demolished and replaced by Tigris the park's 2019 Sky Rocket II Premiere Rides multi-launch roller coaster.

Must have rode this around 1997. Must have been the first coaster, for me where you were dragged over the top on the drops when sat in back car. I think we had been to alton towers the day before so i just remember it being a tad of an anti climax after Nemesis.

That is such an AWESOME water ride at Busch Gardens Tampa. You've journeyed down the white waters On Congo River Rapids, conquered hair-raising 360° spirals on Kumba, plummeted into the waters on Stanley Falls Flume, surived a waterfall drop on Tanganyika Tidal Wave, plunged 90° straight down on SheiKra, ridden Air Grover, experienced 3 launches on Cheetah Hunt, survived 7 inversions on Montu (my FAVORITE!), challenged a 360° loop on Scorpion, felt the fury on Falcon's Fury, and taken on hair-pinning turns on Sand Serpent. Looks like you've had the BEST time at Busch Gardens Tampa! Congratulations, K1ngda Ka88!

Epic ride! I think it is the only roller coaster that actually has 5 chain lifts (if I counted them right). OK, two of them are not exactly "lifts", more like chain movers, but still I think they count. Awesome!

It cost too much to upkeep. The company that built it was not very skilled so it was a problem from day one. It's layout wasn't great more like a train ride than a roller coaster. If I was them I would have kept the structure and have gravity group build it into a massive wooden coaster.

@Anotherexister yea but voyage was a proper wooden coaster with air time. This I would say would be closer to the beast but even then this thing really has no supports to it the track is literally on the ground like a train.

Einen Tag haben wir gebraucht. Am Vormittag drinnen diverse Teile vorbereitet und am Nachmittag draussen aufgebaut und gefilmt. Hätten wir am Vormittag nicht so rumgetrödelt, hätten wir auch ne längere Bahn bauen können 😅
