Tough to see those moments for an owner and a lot of fear for the kitty but its neccesary. Good calm handling from the vet. I saw much worse.

The poor thing is just scared and hurt. But I also realize that this mini predator animal with 4 sharp appendages, sharp teeth and acrobatic abilities better than Spider-Man, is what we keep as pets.

I remember my cat and her vet relationship 😂😂😂😂 literally my cat will become demon in vet examination room… but her vet like her too much and she won’t let him even touch 😢😢😢 but on the day of her spaying after sedation her vet hold her in his arms and was very happily telling “see my dear now even I am gonna kiss you, you can’t retaliate me😂😂❤❤❤” still I remember affectionate revenge in his eyes 😅😅😅

I almost wrote out my hypothesis of it being a fox or dog bite, because my grandmother treated a tom cat with a similar wound; I am surprised that a cat can cause such a wound. I hope it heals well.
