Hi There is some videos in youtube showing dell or hp psu hot plugs convert to bench power suply. They could run the psu hot plugs by connecting some pins but they just could run them to take a small curent not the maximum curent. Could you please tell me how to run my "hp 2450w hstns-pr16 platinum hot plug" and "hp 2650w hstns-pr42 platinum hot plug" into a bench power suply to take the maximum curent and power? Kind regards Kevin

Hello, also had a Fujitsu 12V only Powersupply from Fujitsu. Its a little bit different, but there was also R901 blown! Also had to replace the TNY380PN as Source Drain was in the range of 30Ohms. After changing both parts it's working again!! Thanks for your Vid!

This project is amazing! Thank you for sharing it. I've ordered the components to build it, but the only thing I can't figure out is the pinout of the socket. To which pins on the GX16 connector should I connect the wires from J1 and J2 to? Mine is the 7 pin version.

I wonder if the lack of display signal is really related to the red led light on the cpu tray. Why a problem with the CPU would prevent the GPU to generate a video signal?

Thank you very much for the video. I lifted the dap053 ic and with it line 15 came off (it's not going anywhere from what I see) and I changed the resistance 30RO (30k) but I got 27k, is that okay? The source gives 12v but after 3 seconds it falls
@FixTronics
@FixTronics 18 күн бұрын
Hello friend If you check the video at 42:14, pin 15 does connect to somewhere.. About the resistor I this 3k is big enough to make some effects to the circuit its used in. So its better to use 27k+3k resistors in series to make it 30K

Hello, can you maybe assist where to look when the battery charging voltage "without or with battery" at connector pin is 8v but i know checking another "laptop" it should be 12.6v....
@FixTronics
@FixTronics 21 күн бұрын
Hi friend The battery must speak with the EC chip through the SMBUS before it can charge. So the battery has to be connected in order for you to see its voltage going up. Make sure you have a good non locked non burnt fuse, battery.

Hi, can you remove bios password on cf-30 mk3? I'll remove bios chip/ ship to you and pay you also pay the return fee,
@FixTronics
@FixTronics 21 күн бұрын
Hi, it would be more convenient if you could read the bin file out of it and send it to me to try removing the password then send it back to you and write it back to the chip. To avoid paying unnecessary fees and avoid package loss during shipping. If you don't have the tools to read and write the bin file, I would suggest you buy any cheap programmer like this ( a.aliexpress.com/_oFyMURM ) its really cheap and has all the adapters you need. You can search on KZfaq how to use it. Its better for you to buy this tool instead of paying shipping fees. And as you are able to open the laptop and reach to the bios IC, it wouldn't be harder to read it. I will do it for you for free, you so you just send me the file.

Great, informative tutorial, thank you sir! I have a question, when one of the pins (PRBT.OUT) should be 3V, and it is only 0.8V and there is voltage drop across the resistor it is connected to, what does this indicate? Thank you.

Thank you very much for detailed explanation. Is this for both desktop motherboards and laptops? Is PBTN.OUT a voltage drop from 3.3V to 0V when the button is pressed? I work on a motherboard where it is only 0.8V when not pressed (it drops to 0 when pressed). I think this is not correct but all the voltages supplied to Superio seem to be present, I'm puzzled....
