I don’t understand why do you keep saying that you have to wait until dark to test and use this thermal camera ! The sensor in the camera “reads” or “ reacts” to temperature and not to light ! We have temperature all around us and even within our body ! You can easily detect differences in temperature within different parts of your body and you don’t need darkness to detect it with a thermal camera ! Even the name “ Thermal Camera” should suffice to know what are you doing with it ! As I have written in various videos’ comments you can use it while it is raining or snowing, outdoors and indoors ! That the images look better while in dark surroundings is true but it does not mean that it is limited to darkness !

Tony - I too have COPD and can't breath well enough to take a humane shot when trying to take aim if I walkabout carrying the rifle with rig added to it. My solution is to use a small 4WD and rest the fore stock on the door mirror bracket with my right arm out the door window I steer the automatic car to face the target. I'm completely relaxed and supported while sitting with my back fully supported in the seat and my armpit and shooting arm being fully supported and braced on the edge of the door. If you look at the tables on chairgun it will give you the poi in inches or cm. You can then measure your actual poi to compare. You can also go into the toolbox and it can correct your projectiles bc based on the data you collect, as long as you get data from shooting at a distance further than your zero. distance.
