Best boss soundtrack ever imo

Kingdom Hearts 3 missed a lot....ost, pacing, understanding, heartfelt moments, secret areas, extra fun keyblades, and ofc....the sephiroth fight. Compared to the other two and even bbs... it's definitely the weakest.

The intense feelings that the first Kingdom Hearts game gave me and still give me will never be replicated by another piece of media. This track encapsulates the most prominent feeling: trauma. What was once a safe haven for Sora and his friends becomes dark, foreboding, and dangerous. It reminds me of how 9/11 felt as a 6 year-old boy. All of my classmates' parents were scared and crying. Me and basically every other child had their sense of safety and security ripped from under them. We could be attacked at anytime and at anyplace. It makes me cry just typing this because it brings me right back to how it felt. I can only imagine how much more traumatic it was for the kids that lived in NYC. Kingdom Hearts was a way I could subconsciously make sense of that trauma. The real-life threats to the US were represented by the Heartless and this intense Mission Impossible-inspired track. I could try and hack away at the Heartless as much as possible, but Sora's island was always lost in the end. My efforts were futile. All I could do was move forward into new, uncharted territory.

I'm currently relaxing in my room listening to this. Today's been very boring. But I like that. It doesn't feel like anyone's at each other's throats, even though I'm completely seperated from everyone else. But I like having that peace. I don't have to deal with my vulgar brother unless he comes in here. It feels great. I wish it happened more often.

This fight is the only time I've ever felt so frustrated just from the way HE ACTS. He's probably the most aggressive and rude of the whole organisation (him or Larxene) By the way, this theme reminds me of my birthday, as I once had it play for almost the whole day as background music. I liked it that much.

Simply one of my favorite music in video game history. It's a climax, combining Ansem's theme and Xemnas' theme, I've been listening to this music for literally 17 years and never got sick of it. Thanks Yoko ❤️🙏

The fact that this theme is only played for like less than a minute in KH3 is criminal! This song screams final world music, and we should've been allowed to explore the place. More specifically, we should've been able to trek up the large building similar to the castle in the World That Never Was but alas, it was not meant to be. And no, relegating this song to a battle theme in Re:Mind doesn't do it justice!
