How far do you put it down. I have an x15 2007 same model as that basically we have the same wake shaper. How fast do you set the speed. We’ve been messing with it and can’t seem to find the right place to put it

I learned to water ski when I was in my early teens, about 1960. We just used one ski from the double ski set with about a 1" skags. No "boots" at all just a rubber hoop that you slid your foot into, and barefoot (no hoop) on the board for the back foot. I was pulled by a 14-foot fiberglass boat pushed by a 25 horse Johnson. And no "electric choke" Alan Jackson. I got up on two and dropped one quickly. Endless hours of fun, and pretty cheap.

I just got this setup and am trying to work out the best mount. Were you in A position on the Fuse? I saw that the mast was mounted mid-track. Can you confirm the best set up position for dock starting and riding behind the boat?

Is the 2022 different from the 2021? I cannot get the 20-21 supportive enough for tricking, even tightened all the way, still too much movement side to side and not responsive enough. Too much forefoot space. The old one was never a problem, seemed much more rigid. Not going to hard shells doing flips.

No... they are not walkable. You should look at the Ronix Atmos Boots or Ronix Kinetik boots if you want their walkable liners.

It reall depends on your style of riding...this is more of a hybrid surf shape with ALOT more push...the skim shape is more of a traick board...

Hi Todd, sorry for the delay in responding....just seeing this. We've had better success with the Sea Captain so far... It has a little thicker rails carves unreal...and a little more forgiving....but honestly its still early...as I've only received one round of the Volcom M-50 boards and they all sold out right away. We have received demos in the sea captains and have started demo'ing them...and so far people really seem to like them. Hi Josh, There are some washers needed (similar to those used on a snowboard disk) that will allow it to work. Hyperlite was to include these with the boards but on the first ones did not include them. Did you get the board from us? If so contact us and we can send you a set. If you purchased it elsewhere...contact them and they should be able to help you. Bill @ Performance.

Back in the late 70's & earlier 80s when I was in high school & college I used to compete at a high level (for the time) generally getting into 32 off and periodically getting 4 or 5 buoys @ 35 off at AWSA events. I have always used the front of my ski more than my brother who "rode the tail" but he rode a different ski manufacturer. Looks like I'll have to find a ski school that I can demo each of these as I want to get back into competing now that I am "older than dirt".

Same wake results but finding shaper to be very egg like. We treat the shaper well but a bump while removing out of the water damages the shims or shaper. Have had both break the shell of them. No real help other than the dealer saying haven't heard of anyone else with this problem. So my fix was to epoxy the cracked areas. The dealer has seen problems with Velcro coming off after only two months though. Anyone one else have similar results?
