If upgrading the memory is doable, why does the Apple website say it is not upgradable? Is it as basic as Apple doesnt want us to upgrade ourselves and purchase a newer model or is there a specific problem or difficulty?
@LetMeShowYouUK2 жыл бұрын
You are right, Apple doesn't really want people to be able to upgrade or repair those computers.. they try to make harder and harder on newer models.

It's a bummer having to go through all this, just to upgrade memory; it was so easy up to the 2011 A1311 model; just like with cars, nowadays it's getting harder and harder for the average Joe to repair and upgrade; oh well, I guess we all deserve to make money, if we have skills; thank you so much for the excellent video! I have an early 2013 A1418 in need of memory upgrade and a cracked screen replacement; your video is exactly what I needed for the task

I have done the 27" models before with no issues but then had to quote on this 21.5 inch unit which is entirely a different beast! This video is very methodical and even though this was my very first one it went without a hitch..no issues at all and I have this video to thank! My only beef; why oh why does everyone who makes these type of videos feel there is a need to have "music" in the background? Not everyone likes the same type of music and as this is meant to be informative in nature I feel there is no need for it. Constructive critique only not to be negative. Very good video overall IMO! Good job! so now I think I should also subscribe :)
@LetMeShowYouUK3 жыл бұрын
thank you for your comment, I see your point.. there are some videos with music that irritate me profundly. The reason why, I like to use ambient background music (not very loud) is because I'm not very good on creating commentary.. as much as I want the video to be informative I feel it would be too tedious / dull if it was complete silent. I try to chose background music that is not on your face or too loud.. hard to explain but I believe most people would find the background music I've chosen easy to listen to and not too aggressive on their ears.
