I am a little disappointed that Bruce Willis decided to jump on a high horse and politely as he could put down Cybill Shepard and Moonlighting. That was his bread and butter for five years and the stairway to his stardom. I like Bruce Willis but I don’t know who he was trying to impress.

It’s not a compliment to a woman to be called a bitch. It’s not a women’s lib statement. But, still love Moonlighting!

That’s a brilliant video! Really caught the magic of these two amazing actors. Moonlighting was the best show of the 1980’s and even now nothing comes close to it. The brilliant dialogue, the fast pace , Bruce Willis as the sexy, wise cracking (slightly sexist) David Addison and Cybill Shepherd as the cool and beautiful Maddie Hayes who also could match David when she needed to. When this show hit the screens in 1985 no one had seen anything like it before. It was compulsive viewing and although most people had video recorders and could tape it you did NOT want to not watch it live. It was what they call ‘Appointment’ viewing and in work the next day everyone was talking about it. I was 24 at the time and I remember going shopping to find clothes just like Maddie wore in the show. The ‘will they , won’t they’ kept everyone hooked and the love scene where they finally got together was one of the most anticipated couplings ever on Tv. It’s so sad the final season (season 5) really was a let down.

I really think at this point in time he was holding something towards her for whatever reason... because in the interviews she does she says nice things about him. Early on he would say nice things about her. I just feel Bruce was being a little extra about the situation. And definitely threw shade her way when he said " she's still talking about Moonlighting"... meaning she doesn't have anything else going on🙄....hmmm🤨🤔

I like how Cybill held her ground and did not take the bait. I think the prevailing wisdom was that the Moonlighting set was tense and unprofessional (scripts delivered at the last minute that did not even meet the required length -- which is why many of the episodes begin with the characters addressing the audience in opening monologies, etc). Maybe Cybill was not used to the rigorous schedule of making a TV show back then, but Willis was no saint. And blaming the show''s failure on Cybill's pregancy was quite sexist. The show handled the pregnancy terribly (it should never have even been written in to show imho). Regardless, Cybill's sitcom was a hit for a few seasons and she and Willis did make amends.

I love this video . They had a special relationship ship that made thier chemistry on the show. It's a.shame that they decided not to act on it because that is what caused thier issues later on the show. So glad they reaquainted again for the DVD commentaries and then Bruce's roast.

You can see why Connie ended up with Maury Povich. Both were slimeball interviewers.

Bruce is cool as a man for the essence of that he was, where the character in him cannot be taken away, where he loved to be bad Bruce, where he threw away a lot of things for himself and also knew for himself and where in his time there was money of nothing you need to do it, have an instinct for bets and where to push for yourself😮😜😘😭😭

People like Bruce are rarely born in America, where I want as much as possible to hold him for as long as possible to life, where all life is in him, where I look through him.. he also teased him for being a tough nut, I took from him for being strong towards me, there is for the essence I return to myself .. I can’t, my heart aches for Bruce and where it’s hard for me to think when he will leave, where I’m trying to grab onto the fact that he stuck to himself, shake that Bruce as if through a current to himself where again he would return for that self after a long life where without stopping time😭😭😭😜😘

Bruce, through you and on myself, I felt the sharp pain of your heart where the rupture of the heart where I tried to stay where for a long time I felt the pain of the heart through myself..😭😭. I will try for as long as possible to keep your heart beating where I will come to remind you of those moments of your life Bruce, with this you are shaken into life for as long as possible, and with this I let these moments from your life pass through me, leaving for myself😭😭😘

I know Bruce how you covered up your guilt for that yourself, I see through you Bruce you made a smile that makes it impossible to hold a grudge for a long time... So I won’t forgive you Bruce and I’ll leave you in agony, I’ll look at it myself, or I won’t give it up no one will remain for the rest of your days Bruce my Bruce in my lifetime... I love Bruce for how he is, to himself and where he is incomparable to himself and I love him for the life that is to him... I love him for his character and this sly look and these eyes and nose and smile, this hair on his chest that suits a man so well 😜😘 I love him for the life that he left with moments for himself and for himself .. I love that his character is complex but that’s what a man is😜😘

I see through you, Bruce, how you left me thoughts for something for which you did not want to stay and did not close everything, I,... so I see and where with this I continued to live throughout my life, staying for those moments where I held myself to myself, I see it through you Bruce... this was the love that loved you, through it I want to be with you Bruce because I am so overwhelmed by the spirit and my thoughts are confused and I want to grab hold of you Bruce... it was an unbearable farewell where not to say sorry and to always be to yourself in those moments, holding to yourself the one who lingered in that time to yourself.. Bruce, I see that you didn’t want to leave, but you couldn’t be with what didn’t leave you, to that self where you were already different and for what was what was to oneself...😮😜😘

"We gotta get one of those illustrated manuals." Makes me cry laugh every time. David should have bought a copy of the Kamasutra and when she got angry (as we know she would have) on seeing him reading it at his desk, accused her of trying to prevent him from practicing his religion, lol. I really miss this show. How l wish the good stuff could last forever.

l loved Cagney and Lacy but The Dream Sequence Always Rings Twice was/is an true television event with just amazing writing and acting all around. lt was also the last time Orson Wells was on camera when he introduced the episode that was shot on old film cameras in black and white. They were so wrong with this call. Cybil and Bruce acted their butts off in this bit of magical tv which will forever remain television history.
