Thanks as always Charlie. I struggle with the dubbing, keeping it thin and tight to the thread, especially when I start to wrap. How do you do it? Any dubbin wax involved? Help?!

WHY do I keep getting a mo-hawk on my egg?!?! I swear, I'm a newer guy to this yes, but 9 months in, I revisit the egg pattern and I *STILL* get a mohawk goofy looking blob!! LOL what in the world?!

Sweet fly! Looking forward to tying a handful. If I might ask: is there a reason you prefer to trim the deer hair to length AFTER tying in instead of before? I always struggle to trim only the butt-side without catching some of the tip-side (or spending 10 minutes trimming).

Most elk get quartered and carried out so there is no dragging to ruin the hair

This is a very cool fly! I've had a lot of success with stimmies on Clear Ck so I can certainly see how the trout would dig this pattern.

Nice instruction as always Charlie. Messy Max is spot on in terms of maximizing surface area for the river skating rink. Cross between Iris, Missing Link. and Klink. Beauty.

Such a great fly Max. Love to see it make its way onto the channel, next stop is onto umpqua!🤘

Why not a thin dubbing loop for the beaver?

Great tie as always from Charlie. I would be concerned how long the legs would last however.

Just asking a favor Charlie but if you could get Veevus to make the body quill with the Mylar one color and the other to filaments another color (ex: red Mylar with one or two strands of other filaments black just cut the) Juju series tying time in half. Just saying 👍
