Kai wasn't born a monster. He was made into one because of his family's fear and rejection of him. None of this excuses his actions but there was a sliver of hope for him when he opened himself up to contrition with Bonnie. She had every reason to be resentful but she could have been a key player in his salvation if she had only had pity and forgiven him. The tragedy of Kai is that there was always potential for good in him but he was too far gone and needed to be stopped. I hate to say it but it's true. He became too dangerous. The irony is that he was killed by Damon: another killer who had done far worse than Kai yet received far more forgiveness than he deserved. 💔

What is sad is that Elena wanted to give him a second chance

no one gets kai it's so fucking sad bc I relate to him so much he has been abused and the outcome of abuse physical and emotionally he obviously acts out he doesn't know how else to express his feelings anyone who doesn't like Kai just doesn't get how bad he's hurt and what his family put him through effected him so bad he came out to be the 'villan' but hes not. he is just a misunderstood boy it's so sad that tvd fans shame him and don't like him but ye don't actually get how childhood trauma effects people he tried so hard for people to like him and not be scared of him he's never been loved by anyone and he's just so hurt he begged for help in so much ways without saying it because he felt shame showing weakness due to his dad he spent 18 years away from everyone no human contact kai just wants affection and love

Just finished watching yesterday and I’n in love with this movie. Yes Zoey knows that Zach already has a girlfriend, but she doesn’t intend to fall in love with him guys, she still have her morals. But later it’s the feeling that she has with Zach determines their love relationship. And they’re so sweet and perfect to each other ❤ Definitely worth-watching
