My ac shuts off because the pump gets filled. But if I unplug the pump and plug it back in it drains. Any thoughts? Thanks!

If it's the same pump as in the video, there is no circuit board, so no rebooting of any computer chip. Maybe the float (gunked up inside) or microswitch is sticking? You can try filling it with water and gently tapping the case of the pump to see if it starts up.

Some people suspect that it is to avoid paying out for warranties. Also, people might not want to buy a battery with an older manufacturing date.

Before you put it on it's side, turn off the gas, and run till it quits. No bag needed. By the way, you have an excellent channel. I am a maintenance guy by trade and you do know your stuff. You do a great job helping people out and correctly I might add.

Muriatic acid does a good job at removing crap and corrosion. Just lest it sit for 20 minutes and then washed it really good.

Find the plate on the washer with the model number. Look for it under the lid. There are many appliance parts sellers. Find one of their websites, do a search with your model number. Get the part number. I always try to get OEM parts. You might find the part on eBay.

I need to have the spray lowered to hit dogs that come into my yard and not go above them. Can you please show what affect adjusting that dial on the top has on lowering the stream towards lower target?

To lower the spray, you can turn the dial so that the shield on top of the sprinkler head lowers (off the top of my head that is towards the minus sign) or you can tilt the entire sprayer so that it angles more towards the ground. If the ground is not soft, you'll have to take it out of the ground to reposition it. If the ground is hard and you try to push it to a different angle you might break it's stake, it's just cheap metal. My experience is that changing the angle of the sprayer is the most effective way to adjust the height of the spray.

The only thing I would add is using a oxy acetylene cleaning tip at entry point of cut wire houseing to remove any burs from the cut more effectively.

Before cutting end, loose clamp, take out connector. Cut leak end for new to install 5/8" connector and save bucks. 😎

Two of the back wires came loose from their spots and I do not know where they go. I don’t want to put the wrong wire back on the wrong post. You don’t happen to have a wiring video for this model. All my wires are the original. I replaced my drum belt thanks to you. So thank you but now I’m scared to turn it back on.

Unfortunately, none of these worked for me. I am about to use two pipe wrenches (one on the nut and one on the drain tube). Channel locks couldn't hold the drain tube. 30 years of corrosion. Sigh
