Nice man thanks for the reply. I’m new to it but got hooked already with the stance. I just ordered the brazin scale frontline chassis and links for it, need to find an outrunner and get the vfd stubby going. When it cools down I need to get up there, looks awesome! I’m in Rio Rancho
@philthy505811 күн бұрын
@christopheresper6144 Nice! I've been curious about some of the aftermarket chassis for the VRD but it's been so good on the stock chassis I'm afraid to change it. I run a few holmes crawlmaster v3's with revolvers, a few rhino v80's with various outrunners, and 1 HK hobbies esc and outrunner, the holmes is definitely the best but the HK Hobbies is really good and a little cheaper. Hit me up if you ever make it up this way.

H10 has a considerably longer wheelbase than the capra so the breakover isn't as good but it does have its advantages. Stock vs stock I found the H10 to be much less frustrating to drive than the capra. My capra is a long ways from stock now so I couldn't do a fair comparison.

Your builds are freaking awesome. I noticed you do 13” wheel base often is that do mainly to your terrain? Those tires look like 2.2 is that right? I have the injora pin tires and they don’t look as wide though. Are you using larger inserts to fill them out ?
@philthy50583 ай бұрын
Thank you! 13" is on the short end of what I usually build, and yes it mainly because of our terrain but also because I don't do comps so I'm not worried about dodging gates. These tires are the powerhobby/jetko grabbers, they're just a standard 4.65-4.75" 1.9 tire, I run the standard 4.75" sl3d squid inserts in them. I have a set of the injora pins as well and they are a narrower tire, I use the green injora inserts in mine.
