I'm a big fan of the Fat Max Extreme. The version with the instant change system though makes these knifes dangerous & unbelievably frustrating. The blades don't stay in when cutting. I bought 2 at the same time and very quickly threw them away.

I really should make it a habit to get on youtube to read people's comments about tools and other products before buying. I was at my local hardware store trying to decide between a Dewalt knife and this crappy Stanley one. It was a hard decision but I went with the Stanley. Bad choice. Got it home and figured out how to get the blades out but couldn't get the blade in the knife. Well, I got it in but the trick is to figure out how to get it to stay in! I don't need the aggravation. It's getting returned. Dewalt, here I come.

I bought one about 4 years ago. Initially I loved it. It rolls beautifully, the tool clamping system I didn’t hold out much hope for but it proved me wrong. It held everything I needed, which was a 1st response kit which covered 90% of repairs first visit. Where it failed was the outer skin which marked too easily for me. The Stanley name that was painted on scratched up, which, as it now retails at over £150 I felt was unforgivable ( especially as I babysit my tools and take great care of them including the case ).

Working in the middle of no where. Bought a couple of stanley fax max multi cutter blades and they don't fit my dewalt multi tool. Has the same open ended back on the blade but has round holes instead of rectangular ones. Well done stanley. I'll never buy your shit again. No doubt this is a contrived attempt to fool people into thinking they will work.

It would've been nice if you had showcased the tool box a bit more. Some detail shots against a bright background and more from the top, so you can clearly see the compartments and dividers, so it becomes clear one side has big compartments and the other has small ones. Also, the dimensions would be interesting - outer dimensions when closed, and inner dimensions when opened so people could check if their tools will fit in.

I will never buy a Stanley product again. I had purchased the the utility knife that has the side clip blade change near the front of the knife, and found that is broke very easy, so I contacted Stanley, and told them this was dangerous as the blade slipped out on me, and could have cut me, they told me it was manufactured in china, which i really wasn't concerned about, but I asked them for a similar knife replacement in value. I paid close to $10 for their knife, and the replacement they sent me was one of those cheap 98 knife's. So they have lost a customer, I never will i buy a Stanley.
