Sir, I'm going to have to request that you stop reviewing new razors as it causes me to want to buy and try new options 😂 I have the 2 Supply Razors and I think I agree with your ratings on those. I've never tried the Leaf Twig but I did actually get the Leaf Thorn. I did not expect to like the Thorn as much as I did. Not sure what happened when you tried it but I've noticed that the experience for me changes depending on what blade you use for it. Still going through a sampler but the Gillette Platinum was a good option for me in the Thorn. I might have to give that Henson a go some day but I've been happy with the options I have so far. Let's see how long I can resist the urge to get another 🙃 Enjoyed the video and breakdown. Take care!
@FashionableFather11 күн бұрын
Ironically your request has only inspired me to do more lol! Yeah that thorn incident was probably a one off and I need to give another go. That Henson is just so easy to use and does a great job. But I agree resist the urge; I have too many razors and you have a great selection already. Thanks for watching and…inspiring.

I bought a Merkur Futur knock-off from Aliexpress 2 years ago, and have been putting Wilkson Sword razor blades on that bad boy. Still works like a charm. Just wanted to put that out there for all the cheapskates if you want to save a few bucks. It's been a long time Tim, I'm glad you still upload content. Will there be any watch videos coming up? How's the Seiko 5 holding up? Sending love from sunny Croatia 👋🏻

It’s been too long since I’ve seen a comment from you. An absolute pleasure. Yeah razors work at any price point. Seiko 5 is great! I’ve had some watch envy and for you I’d make another vid. Thanks for being there for me!

Great video, Timothy! I've never tried single-edge razors, only the 3-5 blade cartridges (and I'm almost 60!). Which brand of razor and blade would you recommend I start with if I give it a try? And, unless it's a lazy weekend, I do go for a close shave. Thanks again!

When I first bought and tried this razor, I hated it and threw it in a drawer. A year later I picked it up again and shaved with it, and I love it. I'm not sure which one I bought, can't remember, but I get great shaves with it.

I'm a few months into wet shaving with the AL13 Mild as my first DE razor. I cant think ofna reason to go back to cartridge razors, its so easy to get a better shave, but without cutting myself. (Mostly under my schnozz) The irritation my alum bar (also new) tells me of depends on how many passes i do and which direction they are, which is why im still watching vids, looking for new techniques to improve my shaving experience. Next I'll probably try different blades than the RKs. Thanks for the video 🙂

I thought the RKs were ok. I've used the Henson alot recently and truly prefer Feather, but I'm definitely biased.

I live in the Netherlands were the culture is very informal (derived from Calvinism). I dress my best daily. To go to work, supermarket or stay at home. It does not matter. I do it for myself. People look at me and act surprised and scared. I get asked daily, without exaggerating. “Do you have a party to go to?” “Why are you so chic?” Those who do not know me look at me terrified.
