The BRIT school is not as it seems once you go through the audition process. They don't provide support for SEN whatsoever, and I got rejected - I recently recieved an appeal meeting and had to learn TWO NEW MONOLOGUES and have it up to STRONG STANDARD in 12 days.

Ik this is a year late but You are outside the catchment area so you have 10% chance of getting in

I thought this school was only acting and singing not dancing I’m very good at acting but not singing I can take lessons and maybe dancing but I’m not at that age where I’m able to apply just yet for the school only got like 2 years until I can I think which would give me enough time to get prepared anyone else in the same situation

i’m in year 9 currently, and i’m pretty sure you can apply the september in year 11 and it’s been my dream to go to the Brit school since i was in year 6, i sing and i am staring to get into acting but i cannot dance to save my life lmao but idk i just really want to get in bc it’s all i’ve thought about for ages

Hi I found dancing hard too. In the audition for key stage four, they are not looking for your current abilities but how quickly you pick up the moves. I hope this helps and ask me if you are interested in something else.

It depends on the strand ur auditioning for, I think the only ones u have to sing for are Musical Theatre, Music, Music Technology. For musical theatre if singing isn't a strength I'd suggest just perfecting dance and acting, Make sure to just keep practicing the singing aspect, they aren't looking for someone who is already knows everything so if u can do the others u should be alright!

I want to go to the Brit school so bad I live in Kent and I would have to move out on my own closer I can barely sleep in my own room I know they don’t have accommodation so idk what to do I would defo need a roommate aghshgz this is my dream anyway lol i have a year and a half

Yes they will come back to you im applying this year and I got a email even if you don’t get called in you still get a email saying if you did or didn’t
