I know the packaging has all sorts of glow in the dark features. I am hoping that is the explanation for the plastic pieces too. I missed the live reveal but in the presentation video ( which was very cool) I think it was pretty clear that it is. I think she's lovely.

I don’t get the hate. She’s gorgeous and I love the whole concept behind her. Unfortunately, I don’t collect either G1 dolls or Collector Dolls but if I did, she would definitely be my favorite. now I just hope she makes the jump to G3 then, even if she were a collector’s doll, I would gladly buy her!

I get mine on trade me and eBay. If you wait long enough some sellers lower the price so I mainly get mine between $40 to $70
