My only conclusion to this loss is that the they drafted Clark to fill the stadium to increase revenue. They are improving, however the staff obviously had no plan for Clark and what her talent brings. It's great to see improvement in Clark's gane however the coaching staff doesn't seem to be smart enough to the players to the best of there ability.. Good job keeping Clark out of the game so long as they must be wanting another number one pick. Wheeler is a mess and dribbles too much. I have yet to see Sides confront an official about a call or stand up for her players

As she plays more games, Boston is less and less of a lumbering hippo which she became after doing little exercise when she took the analysts’s job.

I don't remember the WNBA having any team open the season with such a gruelling schedule as the Fever this year. And being a team needing time to gel and practice, it's hurt them badly. At some point here, the team will get more time off and, if the coach uses it well, their fortunes will improve.

Caitlin will get thru this fever mess. She's having a unprecedented rookie season so far. Imagine what she could do with a somewhat competent coach

It is obvious that with Clark in the game, it is fast and aggressive and when Sides takes her out, the tempo goes down to the old Fever level. You have to play your best player when it counts, tired or not.

You sit your point guard when the team has momentum. When CC is on fire assisting and shooting. This is the fourth time Sides has done this. These girls want to win. They don't care who has the hot hand. It changes every game. They play together pretty well. The ONLY NEGATIVE IS SIDES. Sides is a high school coach at best.

Nothing much Good in CC's body language. Don't think she is happy, at all. And she and all the girls on the FEVER gotta be exhausted. The League setting up the schedule like this is insane. They wanted to mik CC's arrival for all its worth, and then when she is when she hits the wall, half way thru the season, the League can dissappear back into its little private Hell Hole, and go back to playing Political Smooze Ball with each other without having to deal with the mainstream public, who looks at the majority of this league's personalities and says, 'Not for my kids, Not for my Daughters'. Dont want my kids growing up with that 'victim' BS. Hell, I dont want my daughter growing up to play BBall. Id like her to do the single most valuable thing she can do in the physical world. Have Children, and help raise them to be respectful, just, intelligent, skillful, and productive (in some way) members of her community. (f'ck society, lets stay 'local')

I'm from an earlier belief in basketball. I loved and believed in the statement that basketball was a non-contact sport. That form of the game is long gone, destroyed by refs, and will never return. I morn that loss. Caitlin and others talk about the physicality of basketball today. The physicality of basketball should be about the ability to run, jump, and move the ball. It should never be about physical contact between players. I want the game returned to its glory. Please start calling fouls at every physical contact between players. That is not the game as it should be played.

Do you see how she's shooting do you see how they go in at her on defense she can't guard she can't defend they want to put her on the weakest offensive player this is a real League refresh trying to protect her but they can't protect her her game is showing it's a little raggedy she can't defend

If Sides starts playing the right players with CC, the Fever will start to win some games. The entire team, and CC, will improve. But not with the line-up and style Sides wants to play. Can they do any worse if she starts CC and Boston, rotates Fegbenele and Smith at one forward, Hull and Samuelson at the other forward, and Berger and the rest at the other guard. And has those 3 positions absolutely RUNNING full speed on every defensive rebound, AFTER getting the ball to CC. Boston doesn't have to wear herself out if the other 3 positions are constantly running. They do need her rebounding, scoring, and strength down low. Let CC run the show , try this, and see what happens, Ms. Sides, Can you possibly do any worse?

Doing something right for 2.5 quarters and then stopping was a discipline thing? That is what Sides thinks? Hmmm. Let’s think about what changed at about that point. Hmmm. Were there any personnel changes? What a dope! She sat Caitlin down. Everyone knows the reason for this loss except Sides.

It looks like Sides is trying to lose. Why else would she take Caitlin out while she is on a roll? Her substitution decisions are HORRIBLE. She doesn’t deserve any more chances. Dump her now.

Hire Kathie Layden. Best coach in Indiana. The Fever need a teacher/developer to get the team on track. Layden has won 5 IHSAA state titles with one 3-peat and a back2back at a different school with a chance at another 3peat. Had 4 D1 players from a public school with only 600 students. One made the All Big 10 freshman team and another led the Big 10 in rebounding. Kathie was also nominated for national coach of the year in 2019. Her teams play an Iowa style game. If you play for her you better get your track shoes on.

They might have had 4 wins, already. Lay-ups, sometimes weren't going in. Maybe defensive- offense: Playing it at both ends of the court, in a defensive way.
