I actually had a similar experience to some of these videos. This is going to be pretty long so you don’t have to read all of it. When I was about six years old, I was having a birthday with my mother and some family friends. It was in a small little lake/pond area. Where I mean, there was an area of still water that was like a natural pool with a small river that went through a forest area and eventually underground. At the end of the day, my mom decided it was a good idea for everyone to go innertubing. I floated in my own little inner tube and started drifting down the river a lot faster than my mom expected. As I floated down the river, a low hanging tree branch almost hit me in the face. I kicked out it just in time though to avoid hitting it and nudged myself to the side. My mom was frantic behind me, she got out of her inner tube and started trying to run after me. But the water was slowing her down a lot and was too deep to run in effectively. She then tried swimming, but the water was too shallow for that and she scraped her chest and stomach pretty bad and broke some of her toes. As the water started to pick up and flow faster, I suddenly felt hands around my shoulders as a man picked me up out of the river and out of my inner tube. He had his daughter with him and apparently the forested area they were in was connected to their backyard. The man left me with his daughter warning me. There was poison ivy on the ground and not to move, before helping my mom out of the water. Who I believe, had gone into shock. His name was Patrick, my mother called him Saint Patrick because of how he saved both of us. Some of the family friends of ours from the party came down the river to help us wade through the water. We eventually made it back on to the bank of the river before my mom got taken to the hospital. God bless that man. He saved us both that day.
