They won't SEE what already is....John 14.21. Jesus's wrath remains IN them....As a parent who loves their child and has "wrath" against anything that would harm them. Jesus remains in them even if they do not SEE. He's fighting for them to SEE/KNOW he's already there.

I’m learning to rest as well. So making myself rest is how I celebrate myself. Examples on a large, medium, and small scale… *Take a cruise and unplug. *Drive down to Galveston and sit in a rocking chair on a porch on the beach. *Stand on the top level of the airport parking garage that’s nearby and just watch planes load, taxi, take off, and land. Take in the sights around the city from this high vantage point. And feel the breeze while listening to all the operations of the airport. Bonus - go to the nearby Apple Store and just look at all the cool new toys 😀

Great thoughts about what “nothing” was… As you were saying that, I thought of God illuminating the universe because He is light. Moses said it was dark and light came out of it, but what was “light” and “darkness” before Creation, and in Moses’ mind?

Just finished the four part series and whether it's Satan, the idea of Satan or an anti-Christ spirit. I find comfort in scriptures like John 8:36 "if the son makes you free you shall be free indeed." Knowing that as born again believers Satan cannot return us to the chains of bondage that Christ has freed us from, he can however bring circumstances and people into our lives, much like in the story of Job and in Luke 22:31&32 where Satan wanted to sift Simon and the apostles as wheat to destroy their faith, and cause us to pick up those chains and wrap ourselves back up into bondage. When we do that the light inside of us that we are supposed to let shine forth becomes increasingly dim and more difficult for the lost to see and finding their way to salvation becomes more difficult. I'm not trying to give Satan or the idea of Satan any validation, as born again believers he is a defeated enemy. So I ask people this question "does your life, the things you say and do help or hinder someone else's faith, does it help draw the lost to their salvation or push them away?" The freedom given to us by Christ makes us responsible for how we react to circumstances, attacks on our faith, how we treat others and putting ourselves back in bondage. The only power Satan has over us is what we give him

This episode is in my top 3 of all 2 p&m podcasts! This absolutely blew my mind!! Sharing this in hopes that others will get freedom. I was raised hearing that God turned his back on Jesus because Jesus took on the sin of the world, so to extend that thought for my entire life I thought that when I sinned God turned His back on me, because if God turned His back on Jesus then He certainly would do the same to me when I sinned, which explains a lifetime of guilt and not understanding God at all! This truly brings freedom.

Great job finding that mistranslation of Isaiah 40:31! “Intertwined” with God must be the only correct choice considering the previous verse which is not waiting for but already is. This difference is so important.
