You know ... or create one tile and use the array modifier just to duplicate said tile. This workflow here is really only one step better than the "bad" one you showed before.
@VizAcademyUK10 күн бұрын
This wont give you any flexibility, method provided here is aimed towards designers :)
@YouTubsel10 күн бұрын
@@VizAcademyUK of course this will give you flexibility. A single tile can just as well be created with a parametric boolean cutout if necessary.
@VizAcademyUK10 күн бұрын
@@YouTubsel Thanks' for the input.
@YouTubsel10 күн бұрын
@@VizAcademyUK Granted ... it doesn't give you the flexibility, if the scale of the wall is fixed and number of cuts/windows isn't. In that case this method is probably the better one.

Hey, those objects are imported into the scene in Proxy format, which is a lightweight representation of the original object. Proxies are used to improve viewport performance and render times by reducing the amount of data that needs to be processed. The proxy is currently displayed as a point cloud, that's why it looks simpler. In Corona, proxies are particularly useful for handling complex objects or scenes with many detailed elements.

Why ? Pierwszy sposób jest dobry do gier, masz zachowaną ładną topologię i twoje tekstury będą się dobrze rozkładać. Drugi sposób jest bez sensu
@sudanemamimikiki152710 күн бұрын
The second one is faster and you can decide how low poly you want the boolean object to be. Plus you get the exact same topology by the end of it.

I tried that with just the fog atmospheric material. It does work it can be fractionated with noise maps and rising from the ground but that material isn iluminated by any light. What a shame. Corona has the same kind a material but it is iluminated, go figure. Yeah, volumes work, but I wanted to chieve it without those. Edit; with Arnold renderer I mean

Hi, thank you for the detailed tutorial. I have no idea why it doesn't allow me to select, drag and move one side of the plane after I applied the FFD 2X2X2 modifier, when I move up the plane it moves the whole, not like what you did. I would be appreciated if you response to my comment. Thanks a lot anyway.
@Arung29416 күн бұрын
hey, so when you add the ffd modifier you can switch through different options by clicking 1,2,3 number keys like we go through vertex, edge, etc in the editpoly. Or you can click on little arrow on the ffd modifier itself so that you can see those options that will allow us to manipulate the object. So here what you are looking for is 'control points' (shorcut 1num key), that will allow you to do what mike did during live. Make sure you go through other options too, that'll come in handy at some point. I hope this helps :)

Make sure that your Snap (S) is set to Vertex and that the edge constraint is on, then just activate the function and you are good to go. You can also try selecting all the vertexes and scalling them to 0 size on Z axis. Good luck!
