Thanks☺️ I booked the ticket 1 year ahead of the flight. For EuroBonus EVA air release the award tickets 360 days in advance, so I just timed that. But lately I have also noticed that they only release 1 award ticket per flight

What nonsense: blacklist the airline on the basis of one trip - “It was the old configuration.” Most aircraft have the new configuration. Maybe the catering was off. Go and watch some of the 100s of reviews on KZfaq that rave about the catering. No airline is perfect. Certainly most of your US airlines are more of a Soviet era experience.

Thank you for the great advice. I won't fly AF given your bad experience of having to sit for 10.5 hours in those horrid "old configuration" seats which are basically the same seat as the new config minus the upgraded IFE and fancier seat controls. Same goes for catering. If you say it was horrid both ways then i'll definitely ignore my 100+ flights with AF with decent to great catering and, as said before, never fly with them again...

You should try it out☺️ everything on board is for free in business class, it is not like in PE that you have to order everything at the first meal without extra charge

I flew “The Room” recently (video is coming☺️) and I got the Globetrotter amenity kit on the flight from London, but flight from Tokyo was an another brand. I got served plastic wine glass for pre departure drink and was surprised they didn’t offer warm towel service

It’s the older 777 not the new one, the newer ones has first class

This interior is from 2012 which also has the same type on it’s A380. Some of the their Boeing 777-300er has newer business class seats the ones like their A350-900 but the colour is newer and looks different from their 2012 purple colour. But still the same design as this one. Also HS-TKK and HS-TKL are both the older 777-300er in the fleet and that’s why it has the older style seats and interior. The newer style is HS-TKX up to HS-TKZ which is the newer style business class seats. But economy seats on all of them are just the same. The newer ones has first class together but those ones are ex Jet Airways planes. So that’s why originally Thai Airways never had first class on their 777-300er unlike other airlines. Their first class are all mainly on all their 747-400 and A380-800.
