I’ve been disabled with ME/CFS for 12 years. I’m very glad to see more awareness. Yet, we need much, much more.

I personally can attest to the powerful antibiotic ability of CBG… I was bit on the palm of my hand by my cousin’s cat and besides that being one of the gnarlier physical pains I’ve experienced, I had heard about these properties so I took a large pinch of CBG kief I had at home and pressed it into the cut that same evening. I go to urgent care the next day to get a check up and antibiotics but it was already healing sooo well I think I only took one or two of the antibiotics prescribed. It’s healed so well now can barely see the 1cm scar very faintly 🙌

Not a word about the role of the mRNA injections in Long Covid? Are you kidding me? Don't you know these injections are made of the same toxic spike proteins found in the virus? Of course you know, because you all know Dr Byram Bridle who sounded the alarm in 2021 and lost his job for it. This conference is a WHO's One Health propaganda.

Thank you for this and thank you Ed Yong 🙏🏻 I am not a long hauler, but my lifelong friend has ME/CFS from H1N1. It didn't have to be this way. May we do better in the future 💖

Hm, I don't understand why synchronized swimming is not learning from freediving. There is a lot of knowledge about blackout there under static, but also dynamic conditions. Heart rate is an important factor, but in the end it is all about not getting hypoxic. As long as longer breathholds during heavy exercices leading to higher scores, blackout is hard to prevent. Certainly you can try to keep heart rate low by training and relaxation techniques, but still oxygen level will become rather low by the end of the swim except you encourage the athletes to breath more often when they get exhausted and don't punish them to do so. Further safety measures can be established to ensure a quick safe and recovery if blackout occurs.

Conflating Long COVID, where COVID has proven to be a chronic pathogen, and ME/CFS, which is a symptomatic syndrome, is not a good thing. ME/CFS is a collection of different root causes under one umbrella. Part of the reason why there have been largely no solutions. Those who have recovered with treatments have treated many different things to recover. That right there shows that it’s not all one thing.

Did you perhaps mean instead Long COVID is the collection of different syndromes under one umbrella? For example majority of longhaulers develop ME/CFS, or other syndromes like POTS, MCAS, etc. Both LC & ME are examples of post-viral syndromes, whether it be from COVID or the flu. But maybe I’m not really sure what you’re trying to get across in your comment, or maybe you’re just critiquing systems as a whole?

Im sorry but this is an absolute awful presentation about this plant and the full specturm truth of it. Filbey doesnt even sound like she believes her data herself, and gives 0 context to what they mean. Watch Ethan Russo for better lectures to understand this plant.

The complex effects of cannabis on activity of the HPA Axis needs to be explored further, especially in individuals with histories of childhood trauma and addiction issues. The biochemistry presentation of the cannabis plant is very interesting.
