Can water grow of this plant without sunlight?

Is the garlic with just the water and little light indoors truly growing? Or is it merely sprouting, like certain sprouts or eg bamboo shoots? I see zero mass gaain of the garlic cloves, and indeed they can't grow because they are packed too tightly together.

That's very low growth for 5 months mate. You sure it's that long? That looks like growth within the first month. Maybe not enough water or sun.

When the pineapple itself ripens should you cut it off mine is starting to get heavy and kind of go to the side. And where should I cut it at just below the bottom of the pineapple?
