Can anyone answer me why didn't he take off at the 5:30 mark? It looked good!
@dickfitswell34378 ай бұрын
At 5:31 you can see he pulls down on his brakes and starts to go up but he still held them down and at 5:34 his hands are still very low. He should have slowly brought his hands back up and he would have continued to rise. At 5:36 his hands are still pulling down and the wing just can't inflate fully so it basically stalls out behind him. It doesn't look like this was a issue for him. He was doing really great on the rest of them and I assume he is in the first flight part of training.

Great take off and landings, but did look like the hang point was off slightly, pitching forward after take off and loosing height, not a criticism just something I noticed

Any feedback for what happened at 5:24 on the launch? Let go of the A's too early maybe?
@Tom-vb4rc Жыл бұрын
Typically the wing falling back behind you is caused by too much brake pressure.

More launch shots than landings. But still a great training video to watch at 0.25x speed to study brake position on approach. Very helpful. Thanks.

Nice Flying videos 👍 Saw you flying Ozone Roadster 3 & Macpara Charger wing. As for a beginner pilot, which of these two wings inflates easily & needs short takeoff run. Is Macpara Charger a stable and safe wing for paramotoring on beaches.

@Ma77hew4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I have three engines in the videos. Start out with a Miniplane Top 80, one video I had an Air Conception Nitro 200, and finally a Miniplane with Moster 185.

small motor, and head wind, then as soon as lift is good partial brake, then letting off as leaving 10ft agl and swooping back down without brakes at all but gaining airspeed.

It looks pretty easy when you only weigh 130 pounds, can fly a Top 80, and have a huge wing! But seriously that was fantastic! It's harder to run with my Aerolight Propulse Vittorazi 185 It's 70+ Lbs depending on fuel load.

Great video, I like it. I live in Missoula. I drive those streets. I like it; it is a great place to live, it is known as the garden city for good reason. I climbed up the "M" mountain by the university and got a good view of it; lots of trees, it is great! This video makes me feel inspired to make my own driving video. Will give it some thought. Maybe a hiking video would be fun too.
