What’s the song I’m thinking of from around this time? I remember in headbangers ball IIRC it was UFO or MSG and the song was mostly instrumental but I remember the singer saying “dive, dive, dive”. Haven’t come across it in decades now.

Into The Arena was first song in my life i have ever heard live 30.11.1983 in München when MSG was the opener for Iron Maiden during their piece of mind tour. It changed my life forever! Thanx Michael!

1st time I heard this song was in 1984... I was stationed on Okinawa Japan and saw a young cover band out in town play it. Had no clue it was MSG until I bought the best of MSG from the Itunes store, There's also a live version of "the Michael Schebker story live"

Michael is a phenomenal musician. How come nobody mentions Gary Moore when they talk about other great underrated guitarists from his era? He had the same kind of fire with great tone phrasing and was an influence on a lot of great metal players (Vivian Campbell) and he was also European etc. Mike has the real melodic thing though. Saw him live. Incredible. Never saw Gary. Big regret. Anyway just my two cents

The incredible sense of power and melody with sublime hooks and touches of MS is unmatched... the ease with which he seem to come with melodies will have any guitarist cracking their head in frustration. This man is a genius...a legend.

Michael has tried to push that poop out for almost fourty years already. And why I always "gotta go" during the gig, he might though a few times...
