I just measured the wheelbase and it's about 310mm so not far off of the 313mm of your rigs. I did a little trimming on the fender openings to clear the bigger tires but not too much, I wanted to keep that class 11 baja bug look! Thanks for checking out the video I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks Mark, yes those axles are working out great, lots of weight to them! That Vanquish Origin Ultra made me start thinking of changing the body on the Phoenix since I already have the bumpers and sliders, just going to be some time before I can drop the $100+ for the body! @@kilroy1980 I was told by my friend that there were issues with the plastic case version so I picked up the one in the metal case, I haven’t had any issues so far and I’m pushing it pretty hard!

He was a tight fit and is just a little big but I was able to get him in there without breaking anything! I'll keep the diffs the way they are and the VW's will be more trail vehicles than crawlers! @@CactusCrawlersRC I use a plastic clamp that holds the camera on the bottom of the transmitter for some cars and other's I buy those cheap round mounts and put one on each transmitter with double sided gorilla tape works very well

@@KEBuchan16 you will need to remove the front inner fenders to get to the body post location, I guess you can drill holes in the fenders if you want but I just removed the entire thing. Good luck with the new body swap and thanks for watching the video!

@CactusCrawlersRC it's definitely one of the few spots you can crawl at in the summer. It'll be about 20~30 degrees cooler up on the mountain plus big trees for shade.
