It's awesome, but i love track pad in mine and rdx and tlx. I wish was in my Integra too. Acura should make it both, not listen to reviewers that don't own or intend to buy. It's so easy to use on uneven roads, turning, etc...i wish Honda stop listening to reviewers
@UrbanAutoAdventures4 күн бұрын
it's understandable that some people would prefer the touch pad. I, for one, really think it's annoying but if it works for you then great. I just hadn't met anyone yet to say they liked it. In that case, yes, it would be cool if Acura/Honda provided both options. Thank you for your input!
@TheKingkingg4 күн бұрын
@UrbanAutoAdventures reason some people agree about problems is they are like tumble weeds and agree with anything that seems popular. I like touch screen because it's faster to get to, but often in most cases I rather track pad as I can hold look at road and press either Sirius radio channels or category, or navigate menu, or navigation. But most complaints is not using enough to get used to it as I had learning curve along with family members. Too many things Honda listen to only reviews online like jobs complaints about volume nob which has steering wheel controls.

From what I learned on other reviews … The S type has NO spare. Other versions have spare below. For me: NO spare … NO sale. Northeast winter driving just too treacherous.
@jusnass3036 күн бұрын
you don’t need to have a spare, cuz the tires are run-flat.
@UrbanAutoAdventures6 күн бұрын
Yea, I was told after I made the video that it doesn't come with a spare which I think is also kind of a bummer.
@kenfrankel34986 күн бұрын
@@jusnass303 Run flats can have blowouts. On past cars I’ve had to replace run flats way more than cars with conventional tires. No coincidence. My BMW salesperson convinced to get tire insurance. I soon realized why. Lesson learned
@UrbanAutoAdventures6 күн бұрын
Run-flat tires are good for if you are driving mainly on local roads at low speeds. But when it comes to driving on the open road, at longer distances, trust me, you'd wish you had a spare tire. I've seen tires blow to pieces at higher speeds. It doesn't matter if its run flat or one of those temporary inflation systems I've seen on other makes. If your tire is shredded to pieces you are stuck on the road.

Yes, finally! I feel like that was kind of the only "turn-off" for the MDX. Well, that and the 3rd row in my opinion. They should take that out as well, it'll create so much more room in the second row. Thanks for the comment! :)
@NMan403 күн бұрын
The few people I know who have a recent MDX have little kids in the 3rd row or they have it folded down all of the time for a ton of room. This is a really nice vehicle. AC/Heat never seems to be an issue. The ventilation is good in that third row unless it is super hot/cold.

@UrbanAutoAdventures10 күн бұрын
Yeah that's kind of a bummer but honestly nowadays, I hardly know any cars that you can depend on 100%. So at the end of the day, as long as you take good care of your vehicle, I believe it'll take good care of you too.
@TheCree201013 күн бұрын
“A very suitable off-road vehicle with its ground clearance.” It literally has 8.1 inches. For comparable, the Toyota RAV4 has 8.4 inches standard. That is objectively a bad statement to make. That said overall decent review and good vehicle!
@UrbanAutoAdventures13 күн бұрын
it depends on what we both mean by off road terrain actually. I had a more flat, gravel road type with a few bumps in mind. Maybe off road to you is tall rocks, mud, deep tracks in the road. In that case i'd agree that it isn't suitable for off roading. I should've been clear with what I meant when I said "off-road" 😅. I appreciate the honesty ☺

I use to wan all these new features….touch screen, driver assistant, parking assistance. Now, after using them..…no thank you. Touchscreens suck if conditions aren’t just right. They don’t work well with gloves. Rear hatch door assist and seat assist are for old, small, and or weak people. These things are to aid people who without them probably shouldn’t be driving. I don’t have any of these things in my current cars and I don’t miss them or need them. I can do all the things from parking, closing the door, lowering the seats faster then the electric version.
@UrbanAutoAdventures29 күн бұрын
I partially agree with you actually but I'd disagree about the self parking. I personally know a few people (about my age) that have trouble with parallel parking especially. After testing the paskr assist 2.0, it's definitely an upgrade from park assist 1.0 and think that, that feature could be useful to them too. Regarding the other electronics in the car, I'd rather have physical buttons for the features but I'm ok with the touchscreen display for the maps, but I can see why you would get frustrated though.

It took me a while but I think I know what you're referring to. It's not a built in feature of the LED's, it's the camera shutter speed that makes them look like they're flashing like that. In reality they are a steady light. I think that's what your question was about, right?

@UrbanAutoAdventures2 ай бұрын
Thank you for your input! Yes, you are absolutely right. If you notice on more recent videos I did exactly as you said. In the older ones I didn't have a top flag on my lens so it would flatten the image a lot when facing the camera as well. I don't know why I didn't just turn around and film the other direction though.
@FLYINGWARRIOR196612 ай бұрын
Tip: don’t film facing the sun, it makes it difficult to see you and the interior of 5he car…otherwise great job, nice car. Thank you
@UrbanAutoAdventures2 ай бұрын
In this parking lot I didn't have much choice actually. It's very tight and the way the cars are parked around, when filming, even with a little sun, it makes it very hard to properly expose the video, especially the interior. I film with a variable ND filter of course but the variation and difference in light (sun vs clouds) just makes it very hard to stay consistent and show the interior black detail of the car. I'm getting though to pay more attention to these things so I appreciate your feedback
