Yes, you can play the deck with only 1 Gorgon, I just use to run 2 since I can play 2, but the other copy of Gorgon never came up :), prioritize on purchasing good rank 3 targets if you have budget and handtraps :)

Thank you so much for the words. I don't like the adventure engine for PK since it adds garnet to the deck. PK doesn't have garnet; even if you draw gloves or wings, it is still a good discard fodder. Additionally, an OCG mindset, I prefer more handtraps and staples over running another engine, PK on its own can generate a strong board; adding Adventure just gives more gas in the build. More handtraps, imo much better. I'm comfortable going 1st or 2nd, and Maxx C resolving is still a problem but not when in Gas build. Since I have a higher chance that I also draw 2 handtraps, which equates to 2 interruptions, I can still stop their play even I didn't setup my board. Unlike if I run Adventure, it can make my board stronger, but if I get Maxx C, that's like saying goodbye or I need to draw Maxx C outs.

Yes, but Evil Eye doesn't have problem with Nibiru, since you only summon 4x, unless you play Deviser package. Horus Evil Eye is good, it got to the top 8 in the OCG China big event with 300+ players. Horus can also dump Gorgonio using Imsety or King Sarco. Evil Eye Horus is good, but Evil Eye Pure is also good. Evil Eye with Horus or without Horus is viable and can top events, it's always player preference.

@@xarzuzygo3700 yeah pure bricked a lot but allow you to play a lot of non engine to counter meta. i prefer the horus package so far since it usually bait the ash or maxx c which usually allow me to know which line i can play into.

Yeah, bro I’m liking the Horus package a lot too. I think the boards are a little better than pure. I’ve been trying to find videos on the deck but no one has any videos of it. I get that it’s likely because Evil Eye is just not very meta though.

​@@dirtysweatshirt I didn't brick in pure a lot, unless I'm unlucky on that day. If you build pure right, it doesn't brick that much, unless really unlucky. You have acknowledged that EE does have 9 cards, that is a 1 card combo. It's kind of surprising that you bricked too much as what I interpret to your statement. Evil Eye Pure doesn't have a problem with Maxx C too, you can still end on 3 interruptions, that's the beauty about it. Horus Evil Eye has more problems with Maxx C, since if you get Maxx C and you dump your cards for Horus, you will not take advantage of Horus as you might not commit to special summoning them since under Maxx C, unlike pure, you have a higher chance that you draw handtraps. Evil Eye: 2-3 interruptions + 1-2 handtraps is a lot of interruptions :) Anyway, good luck with your duels 😁

Nope, but it hurts the grind game, consistency, and overall how the deck works in some interaction. With limited Sharvara, you are now required to use the King Yama GY effect to setup your board.

I recommend not mixing these two, if you want to play Unchained, play the pure version, if you want to play Evil Eye, play the pure version as well, or you can wait for Horus if you really want to combine something with it. They both have synergy for each other, but the payoff isn't worth it. You also sacrifice too much card slot to combine this 2, and your endboard will just be an Evil eye monster with an Unchained Soul of Rage and an Unchained Trap. Yes, that is indeed a good setup, like 3 or 4 interruptions, but you can basically do the same with both decks being pure. Evil Eye can end on 3 interruptions consistently, while Unchained can end on 4 interruptions consistently. If you also make the Evil Eye Unchained board, you also hurt both decks, you hurt the Evil Eye recovery game and game plan, which could have been better if you just played pure. While on Unchained, you can definitely make a better board with pure than combining it with Evil Eye. With the Pure version, you also have more staple and hantrap slots, and you have a better chance of winning using a mid-range build.

I say go for it! Unchained pure is better, but in my experience, combining evil eye with unchained makes evil eye better and you have more options.

@@0ethereal0 Nice experience bro, but here is an explanation why Evil Eye Unchained isn't a great deck and it's better to play them both pure. I'm sorry if it comes out or looks aggressive, but I just love explaining Evil Eye. Evil Eye Unchained just hurts Evil Eye recovery and resources; the synergy of the two decks isn't enough to be considered a great deck. The main thing you are looking for in Evil Eye Unchained is that in the 1 card combo you have Serziel, then Unchained Rage and Escape of the Unchained. Yes, that is a good board with three interruptions, but the thing is that you can also make the same amount of interruption with Evil Eye Pure without hurting the deck resources, like not using Evil Eye win con the Basiltrice and Unleashed GY Effect. The 2 card combo-specific opening (Evil Eye starter + Unchained Spell and Trap) looks great, but you still only have the normal Unchained setup and Serziel in the field, and in order to achieve that setup, you need to open that specific hand and go for a bigger engine. In the end, you just always have one Serziel on the field and a standard Unchained setup, and if you want something like Evil Eye retribution on the field, you need to draw a specific card combo in order to do that. You just sacrifice a lot of handtrap and staple slots for both archetypes in order to mix them. You better play the deck as Unchained Pure or Evil Eye Pure. You can check out both the OCG and TCG Evil Eye decklists that won events and locals, and most of them play Evil Eye as Pure or Evil Eye Horus, and recently the Shark Engine got popular with Evil Eye Pure in TCG. I was tired of getting disrupted in my first turn and added the unchained package. Now I can bait with unchained and finish with evil eye. I only run 3 ash and two called by. For sure would run it pure with a ton of hand traps if I was playing in higher ranks.

You can play the deck without TGU, but it is just better with it. I'll try to explain soon why TGU is great if I have time to make an advanced guide with the deck.

if you look up the Master duel meta tier list it would probably rank on like tier 3 or max tier 2.. Tear is surely better

Unchained was the best deck in the TCG for some time but absolutely flopped in the OCG. Also it didn't exist at full power at the same time as Snake-eye, so I don't know how that's going to develop. Is it better than Snake-eye? No. Is it good enough to get results? Absolutely.

Yes, it can be considered in Rogue rn, but who knows, it might get great representation soon. Unchained does have a great setup 2x SS negate and 2 removal it can be a game winning in some decks, paired with Unchained's strong board breaking and floating effect imo it is a solid deck
