I filed my initial claim in May 2022, and it’s now July 2024, going into August 2024. It’s been two years, and almost three months and I still have not received any updates in regards to my claim. Now when I try to call in to check weekly with this ridiculous one phone call a week scheduled after 5P the next business day, the system is now saying it does not recognize my SSN for identity verification. I don’t know who to call or reach out to at this point. Has anyone else’s wait time exceeded that of two years?

does this guy realize hes in ALABAMA? that will never pass. and even if it did, the supreme court already ruled on this a while ago. AND an "assault" rifle is not a military grade weapon. To get an actual military grade weapon you need to get very specialized permits and licenses from the federal government (and the process takes foreeeeever). ANY rifle, even a 1700's musket can be an "assault" rifle, once its been used in an assault. until then, its just a rifle. So you are basically banning using rifles for assault... which is already against the law...

We have to pray hard, try to set good examples but be proactive as parents, know the friends of your children, keep track of them, keep trying to teach them about gun violence and self safety tactics they can do to keep themselves safe like checking in, having a curfew, not going off alone, etc.
