Thanks for this! On my old BMW it was about 3 screws and half a dozen clips for each grill - took 5/10 minutes. Going to take this on with the Merc but I’ll need to put aside half a day!! 😂

Hi there....can i just remove the bluetooth module altogether...ive just fitted an aftermarket unit and my phone keeps trying to repair with the module....or should i reconnect the old headunit and debond them and maybe leave it in there? thanks.

Hi. How are you accessing those cables to power the unit? I can see from your video that cables are behind the panel but am reluctant to just pull off the plastic which hides the rear belts and supports the rear shelf, but can't see how to loosen it. Thanks for your help.

Did you need to modify the wiring loom to ensure that you phone calls and aux still work after the module swap? I needed to do this

Good video but nearly turned off at the beginning. I would suggest next time choose music with no distracting lyrics ie just instrumental and also seriously turn down the volume…not here for a party but just something of a space-filler during the sped up moments…overall good.

I have just done this to my golf, I used scotch locks to connect the wires, black wire to brown wire and red wire to blue/black wire but my module has no power?

Great video pal. I have a 2010 ford s max zetec. I have the 6000cd radio and my Bluetooth will not connect. Thinking about upgrading the radio to a Sony unit like you have and also a new blue tooth module. I have the voice control On the stalk which I would like to work with the upgrade. Can you advise what radio I need to get and also what Bluetooth module? Im not sure what I'm Serching for.
