This box is what I have been waiting for - an amazing time for armour and war gear, with beautiful sculpts, lots of variety, in menacing stances. This makes Barons War a more affordable option.

You guys are naerds. The Franco-Prussian War (especially this skirmish version) is affordable if done in 15mm, 10mm or 6mm. I recommend Baccus 6mm. A pack of 96 figures with 4 command strips (16 figures) is nine Pounds Sterling. You can add some skirmishers for other poses as a pack of 48 for 4.39 Pounds Sterling. One could easily make an entire FPW skirmish force with the rules for under the price of that big starter kit that is 100 pounds.

Eagles of Empire is easily one the best wargames rulesets out there, easy to learn but hard to master! Weve had games escalate from skirmishes to pitched battles! Sorens miniatures are excellent aswell, would recommend anyone to give it a go!

Lots of goodness this week - love the retrofuture look of Delta Station and the junk mechs for Full Spectrum Dominance. The Night Watch is my favorite painting from that era and 1898’s musketeers look the part.

I dont know how I had not seen Traders Galaxy before. They are great, close but different enough to be 'more' interesting if anything when doing their inspired by. Too many creators just replicate existing (that isnt bad except too many do the same thing).
