A very old type of song, _doina,_ part of the Romanian traditional culture... Shepherds used to play it, on flutes, or _nai_ (Pan flute), while traveling with their sheep for hundreds of mile, days after days, from the mountains to the plains, and back. Without words, it speaks about the hardship and sorrows of life. However, this is not a religious-type of music, it never was.

Glad you liked the 'Set'. I do have hundreds of singles and will use my own providing I had already scanned them or if I can find them, but it is less time consuming to simply download and them and edit to get the right light.

Have you any footage of the end of season competition in The Lido on The Isle of Man. I danced there three times .Made for some of the Best memories of my life . The fun and friendships , like a celebrity when dressed in my uniform so proud to be part of the team . Our troupe was called The Shenettes . (from Wavetree )

Thank you for your message. There is no-one I have come across who has anything bad to say about the 'Morris Dancing' days. Unfortunately Dad did not make any notes about where or who he was filming. I can say that I cannot see Dad going to The Isle Of Man.
