ddr3l is supposed to be compatible with ddr3.it's only if you try and put a ddr3 with a pc that has ddr3l already that it wouldnt work.

Delete iacv, block it off with block off plate, bypass vac lines. done. make sure when you do all this, the engine is cold and your battery is disconnected.

So just for some context I bought the car needing timing chains, did them, car ran fine for about a month until I needed brakes, ordered some online waited almost a month before they came in, got my brakes done then took it for a drive and the car wouldn’t go past 4k rpm. Checked codes got new vtec solenoid and sensor, car revs out again ! Goes for like 2 weeks before on Christmas Day it started to bounce idle and randomly wouldn’t cross over 4k rpm’s. Bought new iacv and gaskets, put them on, bouncing idle is fixed but now the car sits at 2k idle hot or cold start. The car still won’t do over 4k rpm’s, I’ve done idle relearn and put a factory air box on it and my 4th oil change in under 1,000 miles. Bled coolant and everything. Check engine light is for secondary 02 sensor. Any ideas ?
