Why do all these reviewer people complain about the hard touch plastic. It's not like your going to be touching the dash all the time.

Put a cold air intake on my 2017 jetta and all it did was make an annoying noise and HP loss.Put the stock filter setup back on with a KnN filter and got a lil better HP w/o the noise.

I found your video informative and easy to understand however, you left out a big part. Removing the battery tray in the 2017 Accord deserves a video of it's own. In order to remove the battery tray you need to remove the 1st part of the air intake tube as well as the air filter box so you can access the 3 bolts underneath it. 2 12mm (socket size) holding the tray in, which only need to be loosened not removed, and the one 10mm (socket size) connecting the 2nd part of the air intake to the bottom of the battery tray. There's also a cable holder clipped to the bottom the tray. After the tray is completely unbolted, you can flip it 90 degrees to access the clip easier.

How did you check the transmission level when adding the fluid?
@davebogan6927 күн бұрын
Right above the drain plug there a level check hole. A bolt with a 12mm head that seems to hold nothing. When you remove it you'll see it has an aluminum sealing washer just like the drain plug.

I like to use the OEM Motorcraft oil filter, w/fully synthetic STP motor oil & I still like to use the STP (high mileage) Oil Treatment. I have a 2005 XLT 4×4 Explorer w/abt 154,000 miles on it that I'm bringing back to life, abt to have new hubs & bearings replaced, all the way 'round, & an oil change & new tire pressure sensors all the way 'round too. I'm wondering if I should have a new timing belt put on it too... 🤔

Not sure why he doesn't mention that simply draining the transmission fluid does not get all the fluid in the system. It should be done twice, back to back. That way the original fluid that remains in the transmission after the first drain can circulate and drain the second time around. Obviously you can't get every single drop of the old fluid out, but doing back to back drain/refills can get most of it. It's a small price to pay to help keep a transmission running smooth and last for a very long time. You can change the filter/O rings the second drain. Once the drain/refill cycle is complete, you can check the fluid level by removing the plug just above the drain plug. Once it reaches normal operating temperature and you've cycled the gears, turn the engine off and place your drain pan under the fluid level plug, remove it the same way as the drain plug, and with the engine off if any fluid seeps out of the opening you removed the plug from, you have adequate fluid level. If not, you simply pour in fluid a little at a time until it flows out out of the plug opening. Once it does, you know you have a properly filled tranny.

My 2013 jetta doesnt even have cruise control🙁🙁🙁🙁 i loved usingg cruise control in my old. Ass kia its noot like the newer cars where if u hit thr brakes itll turn CC off, my old sportage would let u come to a full stop and let ur foot off the brake and it would climb up to the set speed , could even do it going slow- buddy has a chevy trax u have to be going 30+ and it stops as soon as u tap the brake and u have to set it again and in a big city it never works out

I love the things you mentioned as well. Sound quality is really good and when the unit works it’s fantastic! Thing I hate is related to this units software. The software often locks up the screen, randomly reboots the unit, and sometimes drops out the rear speakers and subwoofer. Just this morning I was listening to Spotify via wireless CarPlay and the reverse camera screen came on. This time, there was no picture from the camera and only a dark screen with parking lines. All the while music was still playing but i was unable to exit this screen. Pull over, turn the car key to accessory, screen unstuck. So, then i just turned the car completely off and rebooted. Everything worked fine again. It is very glitchy. Pioneer needs to fix these types of software issues. This is the second 4660 head unit I’ve installed in this car so it is definitely the units themselves. When it works it’s great!

I've noticed with the Jetta, the second someone else gets in the car, it gets much, much slower. If you performed this with just yourself, or without adding a 3rd with the race tune, youd get better results. The third passenger is the sole reason youre slowing down.
